Cubans did what they had to do to survive under a strident ideologue. Frankly, I don't see prostitution as any more of a social ill than growing weed. It's those who would prey on them who are the real criminals.

We might take a few lessons from them, while thanking our Founding Fathers for ensuring our own era of cult of personality and ideology over common sense won't go on for more than 4 or 8 years.
