The question

Is a light really the deciding factor in how good your weed is??? I thought that the grower did that... I just want to understand why people get to the point where they are ready to kill someone for talking bad about their light choices!!! Its all about what a person prefers right???

What a person prefers has no bearing on what the plant needs.

I think LED manufacturers use deceit to sell lights that aren't engineered for the grower
Thus those who were scammed take a strong stance on others being hoodwinked

I get that... But if a person knows that and still goes with it,it's his choice, right??? That's all that I'm saying... If it works for him and hes happy with the results,it's on him...
if it's personal grow, who cares what others think about it?
if it's a commercial grow, your customers won't buy it if its' crap.

when i was starting out a decade ago, i didnt have enough light. the buds smoked great but were airy as hell. now i'd make hash out of them. lol.

If you have enough light for the plants and the spectrum is somewhere in the PAR range it will grow plants. T5, cfl, HPS, LEC, CMH, LED, they will all grow plants. Which one is right for the individual depends largely on what they are working with and what their goals are. Looking for maximum efficiency? LED. Looking for tried and true performance with low up-front cost? HPS. People who get bitchy, regardless of what light they favor, need to find more important things to care about.

I can’t even lie, until I can do better from time to time I will still veg with my old as galaxyhydro 300... then triple the lighting with my 315 in flowering... saves me some bulb life I figure...it’s been working out..

Genetics then grower talent determine how good the weed is.
