Nice. The harder part for me is making sure its dry enough without being too dry and wet enough without being too wet.

It changes with the strain and season so thats one of the harder things to deal with when drying/curing

Im grabbin some of these those when i harvest next.

Yea, the owner told me about these the day he got them, been using them for a couple months with a hygrometer in one of the jars. humidity hasn't strayed from 62% haven't touched the jar at all, its almost too easy. Not to mention is smoke is fantastic. They make some bold claims with this product but it hasn't let me down yet

awesome! now they just gotta make a big ass one for my drying closet so itll get it to the perfect dry-ness before jarring/curing. haha

Interesting:

Each Boveda consists of a specially prepared saturated solution of pure water and natural salt. This saturated solution is contained within a water-vapor permeable “reverse osmosis” membrane. Within an enclosed container, Boveda maintains a predetermined level of (RH) by releasing or absorbing purified water-vapor as needed through the membrane.

Yup, not trying to sound like a dick, but read the info in the link, most of the information is in there. I use them, they're spectacular. 2 way means it goes up or down ;)

They get pretty damn big, the hydro store I go to only sells the little packs (that's the link from their site by the way) I doubt you could get one big enough for a closet, but they last around a year depending on how often you open the jar (the more you open the more work they have to do, the less time they last.)

My buddy has a wall with about 100-200 32 ounce jars, each has 2 boveda packs in it and he hasn't had any issues for the last month and a half

Total time saver here, I do my best to maintain 60-65...but requires a lot of screwing around plus hygrometers.

You would just get an evaporation humidifier and an exhaust fan being run by a humidistat

Yea, I fell in love with these shortly after I saw them. I figured they were a scam so I waited for a few friends to test it out first. No more hygrometers, no more screwing around, nothing else but a little pack and a jar! xD

Of course if you were doing it in a room like a closet, but if you just want to set them away and not worry about them till its time to smoke, the bovedas are much easier. There are no problems you could run into unless you left them for a year without checking, or if you broke your jars. Humidifiers and fans run on electricity, what would happen to your bud if the power went out for a few days? The bovedas don't run on anything. Its a nice safe easy alternative. Its sort of like a 100% successful curing guarantee

No I understand but 62% seems a little high for cure. I have always thought 60% or higher was a little extreme and I have had issues at the level. I'm no expert but I try to keep my curing below 50% now. I may have to purchase a couple and give them a try, because it could be my process, not the percentage. JAS

I'm just starting to bottle my buds so I just ordered some packs. Ill experiment on a few jars. If they work as stated this could be a time saver, not having to burb jars throughout the day. Plus you don't release the order into the room like when you burb. We'll see.
