The right weather for weed

Tonight, as I prepare for a great NFL Sunday, I finally get a chance to sit back and chill.

My man cooked the roast, for Italian beefs. I'll make a huge batch of fries early in the day, so as not to miss pre game shit.

House is spotless (for a short while.......like until pre hgame LOLZ )

I have weed, I have wine for me, and beer for the men .

So , as I finally sit back, and look out the window, I realize, it is about the most serenely perfect night , for mellowly loud music, a few one hitters, a cup of tea, spiced with a few different HERBS , and start this thread.

Chicago is silent. We are blanketed in a pristine covering of beautiful , silent whiteness. Big , fluffy flakes continue to fall, and the artwork that the squirrels had left in the snow, earlier, as they hopped through, is now , once again covered up.I should have taken a pic. as it was like natures mural , out there today.

Anyway, its a beautiful night, I am in great spirits, although I dearly miss my online fella , who is in Tennesee, and not in our chatroom........sigh.

So, I am off to find some nice songs to go along with this beautiful night, and if anyone's in the mood.......stop to toke and talk, post a good tune.......and I hope your night is as perfect , as mine..............now, if I only had a fireplace, I'de want for nothing, tonight.

Well im not one for music

But I do love the sounds of nature

- A windy stormy night , listening to the rain pound against the house ,will put me to sleep like no chemical can

- a summer night with the windows open (or sleeping outside) listening to wind, owls, bats, foxes, and what ever other critters are out their

- Ever camp durring a snow storm , in a feild all you can hear is wind, thats erie to me but I find it intersting

You don't like MUSIC?
I've heard people say they don't like ROCK music or Jazz or classical....
But not being iNto ANY MUSIC....?

It's a bit like saying 'I'm not into food'
'Italian food? Thai food...?'
'Just food - I don't like it (it's too left wing and influenced by big government'
At this point the person slowly walked away, sideways like a crab.

I dont like MOST music.. I grew up listening *by choice* to am radio in Aurora CO.. have not stopped much.. I listen to audio books over music or talk radio now a days..
I did like almost all forms of music.. and still enjoy some of the stuff but I dont go out of my way to listen to it anymore..

I find most music these days to irritate me.. the same beat over and over.. it's a nursery rhyme for adults who feel repetitive music and lyrics soothing..

eta.. I am old or feel old as crap so I guess this is not uncommon for us old folks to bitch bout the music being too something...

I hadn't noticed this until a comedy rock band called Axis of Awesome claimed that every pop song written in the last 50 years was the same 4 cords. This video convinced me but also cracked me up.

I never knew anyone who didn't like music..........I played music to my pregnant belly, and my son came out of me, a music lover.........

I played Nirvana's In Utero , while he was in utero. He listens to music constantly, and has for all his 19 yrs.

I did not say I did not like any music

Just most music

When I do listen to music that I enjoy it's usually symphony , but for limited amounts of time not hours on end or 24/7
