So in my area the laws are really draconian, they'll take you in for any little amount they find on you. It sucks because you're always watching over your shoulder and have a general sense of paranoia. So with these things being said, I have to maintain an even higher level of security and counter-intel. Sometimes it feels like the show Dexter, a show about a "good" serial killer who lives a manicured life in order to fulfill his dark desires. We have our secret lives we live, but we can only share anonymously with each other online. Our only identities are our avatars which reflect a small piece of us. In our real lives we must mask the grower inside of us and deflect suspicion in order to continue our hobby. In the rare instances, all information must stickly be kept on a "need to know" basis. For this reason I've stayed single and keep my female relations stickly on a friend level. As for other friends, I only associate with people who have fully proved their loyalty. To many it may sound like a sad, paranoid life but to me it fills me with excitement, a sense of purpose, and a feeling of rebellion against a tyranny sweeping the land. Bottom line, we can't tell even our closest friends sometimes, it all must remain a secret. We can only share here, online, with each other.
