Definatley, I totally stoned-out that you were 3 weeks from harvest. I grow more on the commericial end, so I use peak ferts on the majority of my plants. Tastes harsh, but predictable results throung the long run. With that time frame you couldnt help the yellowing by harvest time anywho. Once again, great work mexiB.

Excellent job. This is what this site's all about. For most of us it's just a hobby, not there to make money, in fact it most likely loses it your first and second time.

I've also grown commercially, and now that it's over, I feel much more comfortable just growing as a hobby.

It's a great place and I would still be growing bunk if it weren't for it!.........even growing bunk was fun thooo. I've got 3 clones of the sideways plants that have been flowering for 1 week they were put on 12/12 alot smaller with a little lst.(posted pics a while back) It will be interesting to see what kind of yeild they will have. The sideways method could also benefit from using a better suited strain. These grow short and bushy and usually flowered hydro at 10-12 inches. Although I probably wont do this agian as far as I can see maybe someone else will get nspired the way Nongreenthumb's one picture did me.

Here a pic of the 3 clones I took shortly before flowering them. they are 4.5 weeks behind the sideways plants in flower. Not sideways! not as big! just a little lst.

Well today is 46 days flowering! They look like they will be ready to harvest very soon, maybe even this weekend! These plants done hydro are finnishing at 6 weeks(42 days). I'll post pics later today or tommoro. Most all the trics are cloudy with some of the buds starting to amber. I don't want too late a harvest cause as much as I like to get really stoned I don't want a total couch lock. We cut off a couple little buds that were like 100% red hair, quick dried them and puffed a joint. It had the distinctive fresh green taste but gave an extreme head buzz, Don't get me wrong Im not cutting early I didn't wait all this time to cut it short, but they are just a fast strain to begin with. Untill then I will be patiently waiting............
I feel like playing guitar agian!!! Thanks FDD!! Sometimes insperation comes from the strangest places. I've been in 1 and only band for 10 years and aside from that I played pretty well every day untill the last couple months where I felt like I wasn't going to feel like ever playing agian....Don't know why just did. hearing FDD chug away at his guitar with joy just seemed to click something on about playing, and I think it was just the joy of the guitar in general that I lost for a bit. Sry bout the rambling. ROCK!!!!!!!!!

Congradulations!!!!!! It's a she/he..... . If you've been watching you will remember back on like page 12-12 I found that on a couple of the small buds all the hairs were turning brown. This was probably somewhere near 2.5-3.5 weeks. A number of probabilities were discussed and I have a little bit of a hermie! So far I've only found 1 cluster of 4 banannas, and 1 seed. I'm sure there are probably a few more seeds inside. It looks like it's only a handfull of the smallest undersidish gram buds.

Heres some of the possibilities. I don't believe it would be pollinated from outside source as there are bannanas. But who knows.

1.pollen. I cannot rule out a visitor from a grow containing males!
I cannot rule out a male grow in dif room 10 months ago!

2. light stress. I believe I noticed the hairs before I got the 1000watt.
I did last week move the cycle ahead 15min over 2 days.

3 sideways. someone was talking bout the auxins traveling from the top down, and that it being sideways might hermie it up?

I'm puting my money on the sideways option just because everything else was good at the point I noticed all the hairs turning brown on a few small buds. I will keep an eye on the clones of these. they are at 2 weeks give or take a day or 2. If those don't hermie then I would be a good guess it was the sideways hermie.lol.




Heres the best I could get of the tricromes. They are mostly all cloudy with a few amber ones here and there.

And the room with the 3 clones on the side.

I dont know about the stress factor, but did you ever let any
of your past male plants drop pollen...

Yeah I did. that was another experement in my learning to grow pot. I pollinated a romulan girl with a blueberry male. In a different room in the house. I cleaned it up real good back in fall when I was done. This could be a possibility but I have grow out a bunch of plants since with no probs. I'm not too worried bout it, unless these 3 clones that are coming up do the same thing, then I will have to do a check list strip down. No, not the kind involving a pole.

Speaking of experements.... what do you all want to see next? or what should I do to these 3 clones? I was thinking a nice standard grow no more stress lol. no strings attached. But I'm always up for ideas, if I have the means. Right now I don't have alot of those.

Ohhh yeah. I've been having so much fun with this I just started actually thinking about smoking it. great advice!!! That'll be the new "wanna smoke a joint?" wanna get sideways? i'll probably keep the tread going till the clones are done as well just to show a bit of a comparison, upright to sideways aside from the obvious differing factors. lights, size etc.

Well!! Looks like were going to harvest it today! found some more bananas today along with the proper way to spell bananas. It's a little early in the harvest pocket but the trics are cloudy/amber just the way I like it. plus the fact that i've never grown a plant that finnishes in 42-50 days.
