The Situation Happened!! My Parents Caught Me!!

yea. today my mom cleaned my room because she was off work, and it was a total mess. she found seeds i was germinating, and told me dad. at that time i was turing on my cfl's, heard them talking, and said oh fuck i know what they are talking 'bout. eventually my dad called me and asked about the seeds and he smiled, he said he couldnt say shit cuz he did it also but he said "not in my parents house though!" and we all laughed and talked about it even my mom said "shit you shouldve came to me, i wouldve grown them!" and now i asked what they r gonna do with the seeds and they said "grow them" SWEET!

well shit that couldn't have gone any better...lol...glad I don't live with my parents any more and even have to worry about that.

Congrats man, hopefully your parents are good in horticulture....

but then i talked with her and asked why etc ... neway after a long time tlkin bout it... she said that i can grow lol.

Wow this is so weird....I hope I'm not banned for being from "the dark side" !!! LOL!

I'm on the other side of this...a parent. Boys..14 & 17. I grow, they don't. (I'm a medical patient and they know all about it)

Seems to me that you guys/gals should have a GOOD idea by now if your parents are cool...or are total narcs. (read hippocrites, 'cus I'll wager heavily THEY got stoned if they were teens in the 70's or 80's!) What kind of comments have they made? Do you know if they *used to* (LOL) get high?
What do they think about medical marijuana? That's a good tip off how they may feel about the drug as a whole.

Here's the gig...I guarantee that many of them would be far more cool about the entire "pot" thing if you felt it out and approached em STRAIGHT UP *IF* it was AT ALL possible that they'd be cool with it.....rather than firing up a light in a closet/under a bed or a doobie in thier house and taking this all to a

Dunno about yer parents..but I told my kids that I've done it all..and that the difference between my parents and me and me and them was that my parents didn't do drugs as a kid and I did...so getting away with shit..well..it just ain't gonna happen cus I "beenthere donethat". LOL.

FWIW....My MAIN concern is that my kids make it through all of this "growin up" shit SAFELY.

Your parents should know (like I do) that pot won't kill ya..but stupid behaviors while stoned just might. My kids know to stay out of the car w/ booze/weed. (they can party here and know it so have no excuse to cruise and booze) They also know to helmet the soldier before going into battle and to RESPECT women for the goddesses they truly are.

anything else that doesn't risk death or serious injury is merely a learning experience, IMO....

just *don't* be stupid and think I'm stupid and follow through on that thought by growing weed in my house as if I am.

So kids...especially you 17 year olds and almost adults in the eyes of the law types...if you feel comfortable approaching 'em it might be better off in the long run to just get it out there and be HONEST with 'em.

well, my dad grew when he was younger so most of the marijuana experience will come out, but my mom will help with growing in general. and i know for sure my dad smoked while my age, not so sure about my mom, doubt it

I think I'm just a realist. My parents forbid me to smoke pot and checked my clothes for smell.... so we tripped on acid all the time and did speeders instead....

I KNOW kids will rebel. I FUCKIN' DID! How hard they rebel is directly related to how hard you react as a 'rent. Itr's too bad so many of my peers are still so stupid...just like our parents were. I saw my parents drunk and they didn't want me to get high? OK...yeah..right..sure thing...will do...here i go...oops..

As far as my own....I'll blaze with em when they're 18 or older...and are responsible for themselves. Any sooner and I have no say in what happens after that point. I don't stop em..but I also don't enable them. Follow?

my mum watered my plants and bought the nutes and my dad built my lighting system.now I gave the whole load to a friend and we're harvesting soon.:hump:

But Istill havn't told them I'm going to smoke what I grow.

anyway I am a responsible guy when stoned...I never drive...and I always brush my teeth after...when I have the chance to...

Iduno we might be turning a corner as potheads in general.
maybe people are starting to come around and realize that it is not really that bad.
There are alot worse things kids could be doing.
Trust me I feel like I have done most of them myself.

I feel like I am being a responsible citizen just smoking pot.
When I used to do extracuricular's I was not.

Mom saw a glowing closet and freaked out. Open the closet door and said thats a big ass tree. I told her its a maple tree, yea wait till your dad come home so he can look at it. Well dad looked at it and said its a marijuana plant. How the hell you grew it so big? I shitted my ass feeling really dumb when they explain what will happen if people know. DONT TELL NO ONE, ok dad!

Thats like saying "My Parents by my condoms; but i haven't told them i was having sex yet...." My guess is they would've knew even before they bought the damn condoms. LOL My moms caught my grow Twice, both times it was only one plant, but both them bitches were like 4 ft tall. She just took em and threw them in a black trashbag, and off to the dumpster. I have ANITI-grow PARENTS like most. But when it came to the smoking, they didnt care hmmmmm, i don't get it. maybe has to do with the fact that i was growing in their house right. Probably. They don't wanna risk their home for my stupid teenage ass. Back Then Ofcourse (now in my twenties).
