Soon I'm starting another crop, this time I want to try SoG in a tight version. Jack Herer GHS, two plants per square foot, there will be six in total.
Normally, I get 100-120g from this growing space, so this time I expect a similar result. This means 17-20g per plant about 50cm high.
However, I have a problem with soft pots, they are available 4l (1gal) or 7l and more. These 7l are too big for my closet, and the 4l seem a little small.
I found pots of 5-6l, but they have the same diameters as 7l and are also too large.
From the SoG guides I read that 1gal pots are suitable for plants with 0-7 days of vegetation time.
If there are more days, the pot should be rather 1.5-2 gal. But such will not fit into the closet.
I plan veg 10-14 days, plants 50-60cm, 17-20g each.
What do you think about these 4l pots, maybe they will be enough with good fertilization and a good Quantum Board 120W lamp?
And I wonder about the length of veg, 10 or 14 days?
