does you r water ever urn milky? or murky?
That could be a sign of bacterial contam, but not always, due to other factors in the environment, can't post a pic, then it is a guess.

If it looks very stringy and the lc is cloudy= not good

I will.... :razz:

So the KIT showed up... what a joke..lol..
Anyways... I got a bunch of jars noc'd up...

Some Shiitake, Amazonian and Golden Teacher... from syringes...

And I gambled and used the LC to noc up the last 2 jars...

We'll see.... I have a feeling the LC is going to be junk, but you never know...lol...

This HAS to be the most boring thread I have ever put up... not even a single picture...

But anyways... now what?!?!

Wait? about 2 weeks???

The 2 tote rig seems to be keeping it very steady at 82F in there...

So how do people close p their jars? with tyvek, or some kind of tape over the holes?

The "KIT" came EXACTLY as I had done with the LC...lol... total coincidence... and probably a testament to their lack of knowledge...lol...

But yeah, unsealed holes on the lid, with foil covering down 3/4 of the jar... :razz:

Do you recommend I do something about it? if so, what?

Thanks! :joint::peace:

tyvek, and micropore tape are the easiest. Screw the ring down on the tyvek and use the tape to cover holes after innoculation.
