The Top 20 Strongest Smelling Strains

theres so many crosses out there, and more are created weekly. there is undoubtably stinkier strains than the 20 you listed.

Ive grown crops of 5 plants that you could smell from my backyard with all windows closed, and neither parent was on your list. (and i wouldnt dare label it one of the stinkiest EVER)

lists from forums have more to do with what folks have had access to, not whats the end all be all in the entire world

yeup, without actually comparing terpene content through lab analysis this list is anecdotal at best.

Hey Fellas. Im firing up this old thread cuz I have been on a lost hunt for something and my google search led me here. First off I am not a regular on this board I created an account many years ago back in 2010 and have not logged in since. I cant believe that I actually remembered my password and logged in successfully after all these years what are the odds? LOL

Anyways I am a regular over on THCFarmer and I recently started a thread there talking about the old school SoCal Catpiss lineage. The connection with skunk and train-wreck. This was the LOUDEST strain I have EVER grown but I haven't seen it since back in the mid 2000s. It appears its gone forever :mad:

Road Kill Skunk - Ester Alcohols, Train-wreck and the Catpiss Connection

Big 10-4 on this one, most the hardcore knockout weed wasnt pretty just did the job(not for novice smokers),plus the major lung blasters are real rare today in flowers,more common in hash or honey oil,before it became easy to get(commercialized).

So anyways like I mentioned I ran this old SoCal Trainwreck Catpiss pheno back in the day and honestly probably the closest thing I have ever smelled to what people refer to as roadkill skunk. It was a face blast of Skunk, black pepper, citrus pine, and the nasties raw ammonia piss you have ever smelled. I am so sad that its gone now I have been on a quest to find it. Pics below are of this lost strain these pics are 17yo...

I'm running a bunch of old school 90s catpiss strains right now. Also running the SSH Catpiss cut. They are all also but unfortunately they hail in comparison to the original train-wreck skunk catpiss pheno. The SoCal Catpiss. It was insane. I am willing to pay someone $1000 cash if they have this real ammonia cut still available. Please please someone help me if you know anything about this lost strain please let me know. This amazing skunky pissy strain did exist I witnessed it. Info below verifies this. Please let me know guys I will pay you a finders fee if you can point me in the right direction...

Others from different online forums have also expressed interest in hunting down this lost SoCal Train-wreck Catpiss pheno. Im not the only one. I am trying to start a coalition LOL. This particular cut was train-wreck dominant but it had old school skunk in the lineage as well. It was so flame. Not to be confused with SSH Catpiss that is awesome too but the Train-wreck version was skunkier cuz it actually had old skunk crossed init. This post is from some guy back in 2016 he seems to remember it too. Too bad his picture isn't working anymore it probably looked like mine...

If its dead you might just need to have a go making your own version the decent skunk part is proly harder to get than the trainwreck clone id imagine if you read more on here u might find info that help

Yes I agree with you. Finding these old cuts has proved virtually impossible for me. Im still trying however the good stuff is likely gone. I'm doing a breeding project to try to resurrect at least something that is close. Right now I am running the following strains for this breeding project...

1988 Sunk #1 Authentic Genetics
Original NL#5 Authentic Genetics (The real Nevil batch)
SSH Catpiss Pheno BX3 from Old School Genetics
Original 90's Catpiss (Amys Cut) from SD Gas
Shoreline BX from Shoreline Genetics
Train-wreck from 420guyseeds (This is the most black pepper Train I could find. Peppery is key)

I also have some more that are escaping me right now. I have a massive seed catalogue but the ones listed above IMO are gonna be closets to breed to try to find an Ammonia/Rubbing alcohol with a hazy nasty skunk to go along with it. Although this PiffFarms on Instagram is looking interesting he appears to have a burner haze cut. Anyone know much more about him? Does he sell to the public?

I got a lot of this from AK Bean Brains Hawaiian Catpiss V3. I only ran one pheno but it was good enough to run 2-3 times.

It had the most crazy anti-septic/hospital/ammonia smells along with the rank skunk flavor, and slight citrus.

Original Hawaiian import bud that was crossed to NL1 bred to F1 and backcrossed to the import. That was then bred to F2 and released to the public as F3. The ones with the long middle finger are the most ammoniated like the original import.

Yessss!!!!! Thank you so VERY much for this testimonial. So funny I have the AKBB Hawaiian Piss saved on my browser tabs. It was another contender that I was looking to try. Some other guys online gave it more mixed reviews said it was great but not like the East coast Piff they had back in the day. This is why I hesitated. But as I have stated in my other threads I truly believe there were different versions of both Catpiss and Skunk floating around back in the day. Which type you experienced will be contingent upon your exact location and timeframe. It sounds like what Im looking for is probably closer to this Hawaiian Piss it even looks quite similar! Im gonna get a pack for sure that would be a great one to splash onto a Train-wreck cut to se if I can bring out the Black pepper. That description from you of the Hawaiian is very similar to mine just add some peppercorns and it sounds like its almost there! Thanks again man! :clap:
