The ruling is 5-4, with Samuel Alito writing an opinion that John Roberts and Anthony Kennedy joined, and Clarence Thomas writing a separate concurrence, joined by Antonin Scalia. Stephen Breyer wrote the dissent, joined by Elena Kagan, Sonia Sotomayor, and Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

WTF?

Bill of Rights, Amendment V:
No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation
In a world where most people need to STFU, when they finally do, they're guilty?

You have the right to remain silent , anything you do not say will be used against you in a court of law . Wait a minute , this is just more of the good old american govt doing as they please . I hold a deep grudge against the Govt for much more than this .

My grandparents were forced to attend boarding school and luckily they taught us to run like hell from BIA and Govt employees . My family was forced on the gulag when the Indian removal act allotted our reservation and attempted to send us out west . Fight like hell our ancestors did and this is why we are still here . Looks like its time again to fight the blue coats lol .

Exactly! I always love the judges face when he say why didn't you comply or pay. And I have to politely explain how little respect I have for his system and that putting any of my money into his pocket is exactly what I'm trying not to do.

I actually caved a year ago and paid all of my fines and fixed all of my warrants and even have a valid DL for the first time since 1994. It was a very long expensive process as I've managed to land myself in a wide variety of jails. Currently enjoying the few freedoms we have left....... choke..... cough.....

The SC has something for everyone to dislike in the last 4 to 5 years, liberals and conservatives alike.

Lawfare knows no ideology brother. Rather it is the corruption that they can afford and you cannot :( Banking, Government and Law are tools of the haves used to control and manipulate the rest of us ...

Everyone needs to consume less of everything, pay in cash not credit, avoid large companies as much as possible, grow as much of our own food as we can and run them out of business! Its all a big math equation to them and if you remove the cash and the need for their pointless goods they will not have nearly as much power. Let politicians know you don't want their opinions, they are there to work for us, and if they are making choices that make our lives harder or unsafe then we need to make it clear how uncomfortable we will make it for them!

Can you even imagine what would happen in places like LA, NY and Chicago if the government, legal system and banking actually all went under :o Considering those overpopulated areas control a majority of such "voting" in this county, both in numbers and financing, you'd think/hope that they'd be much more cautious about whom they place in power and what they do while there :eyesmoke:
