Hello Folks,
After much deliberation I have decided to share the lastpart of my final grow with RUI. I livein the bible belt, so I have been reluctant to post much for fear of self-incrimination. But, Ive never been one to have a look atother peoples privates and then not have the decency to show mine inreturn.
I have been growing on and off for about five years aftermoving to a new area and not wanting to take the chance on finding asource. Late in 2011, I had actuallygiven up both smoking and growing after being diagnosed with COPD. However, when getting all my stuff organizedto get rid of it, I found two seeds I forgotten about. So, instead of tossing them, I convinced thewife to let me do one more grow! I guessthis will be my contribution to the movement before I head off on a new morefamily oriented adventure. I alwayswanted to have enough good pot to roll around in and I have been there and donethat!
Started the two seeds with the paper towel method. Transplanted them first into 16oz cups andafter two weeks transplanted into 1.5 gallon pots and then into 5 gallonbuckets a couple days after 12/12.
I vegged for 4 weeks under cfls, 2 x 100 watt equivalentsper plant. Flowering under a 400 watthps. Miracle grow soil and MG bloombooster nutes with Epsom salts for Mg supplement. I didnt give them any ferts until 12/12 andnow give them ferts once a week. I don'tfool around changing the ph of my water, it runs around ph 7.0 from the tap. I used to spend hours checking and trying tolower it, but for a stoner, it seemed to introduce more problems than itsolved. I refill the water jug as soonas I use it, so it has time for the chlorine to evaporate and for the water toreach room temp.
Pics were taken at 22 days of 12/12. The Tutankhamun (ak) was topped at 2 weeks ofveg. The Bubba kush (bk) is quite smalland was not topped. Temps of 95f almostkilled it (bk) early on when I trusted afaulty thermostat on the heater.
The grow is taking place in the spare bathroom using onlythe gear I had left from previous grows. Feel free to comment (good or bad) or give suggestions. Just keep in mind I have a budget of 0$! Also, I would love to see some other peoplespics of these or similar strains!!!
