Basically i'm looking for the strongest, highest yield, best taste, and stability. I know alot of it has to do with how good of a grower you are so no need to factor that in. Just info on genetics. I've researched a lot on the subject and a bunch of people suggest dj shorts because it was the first but i don't know if it's just hype from the web. I only want responses from personal experience, not ((what every one is saying)). Here's the ones I've narrowed it down to. Please can someone shed some light on this. BC Bud Depot Seeds - BC Blueberry, Dutch Passion - Blueberry, DJ Short - Blueberry, DJ Short - True Blueberry, and The Doggies Nuts Seeds - Blueberry #1. I can't wait to see what real growers have to say and my purchase decision will be based on the knowledge that I obtained in this article. Thank you for everything in advanced and I hope when this is done it will be the ultimate definitive guide on blueberry genetics for everyone to learn from without having to worry about hype.:leaf:

There seems to be very little stability with blueberry. Even DJ Shorts blueberry is really hit or miss.

Ive had nothing but stability from Dj's blueberry, ive also had great results with Sagarmartha blueberry. DP's was very inconsistent and took a while to find a half decent mother to clone. High grade's blueberry seems pretty damn good sp far too. Wouldnt even bother with Doggies nuts, way overpriced imho.

Most common thread. About once a month since I've been on here someone will start a who has the best blueberry..... DJ short has the original and what most consider the best. He came up with the line, and the name.

It's funny I posted this to help anyone who doesn't care about what they've heard just personal experiences and the only responses I've got are ( well this is the guy that came up with the strain or check out this post.) For being the most common thread you would think there would be some info from someone who actually has grown and smoked the best blueberry. Oh well.:wall:

I got a dj short blueberry from a dispensary that I've flowered out. Not hermied yet, and salt locked for 3 weeks. Still developed fairly well in the last 2-3 weeks. Very dense buds, no hermie, great resin, and overall very great for the stress I put it through. So I say his genetics are great, it was perfectly mirroring how blueberry looks, until I flowered it. Then I kind of messed it up. But the purpling is starting to happen on small leaves. I'll report back on the yeild when I cut it down. It's in a 4-5gal pot, Idr which. I put this plant through the ringer at like the most fragile time and it troopered through it. I'll never choose another BB; don't need to.

Now that's what I'm talking about. How many times was that topped? Seems very solid and an impressive yield for the stress. Much respect for the response and let me know how it taste.

You know how sometimes you feel like a film is trying too hard to be a cult film?

This thread kinda feels like that.

This has to be one of the top 10 questions on any MJ board.

Considering this is one of the top 10 questions on any MJ board, it tells me, you arent going to find anyone with "stable" blueberry.
It is hit and miss with any breeder you go to, including the originator's.

i recommend flying dutchman blueberryxskunk it has a great yield & has a nice blue hue to the buds.. its a knock out stone, everyone i smoke with gets crushed off of it. and there seems to be 2 different phenos with it one leans more to blueberry and is really bushy with very dark green leaves and seems to change colors more when the temps drop at harvest time.. the other is more skunky its lighter green, longer branches, stinky as hell and taste soooo good... they both knock your socks off. its a must every time i grow..u should try it and i hope you do

Never topped, just bent over to let the undergrowth move up, has 4 main tops. All my plants are turning out well considering I locked them out that long. I'll probably pull an oz out of it, colas are super dense. I should have vegged it longer. If I grow again, I will veg it out more. It was pretty small whwn I threw it into flower. They all were.

We've tried a few... all are touchy with nutes- so feed lightly...
and if you have had ANY mites in the past- BEWARE! Mites LOVE Blueberry-
they will go right to it in a room full of diverse genetics (and Strawberry as well)
Don't know if maybe it is because of the sweetness- or cellular structure or what...
But you almost have to do preventative spraying on them.
Have never grown a "Berry" strain we didn't like!! ;)

I asked dj about his when I met him. His words "the mother
Ought to be on a single pack, if not thats pretty unlucky" I don't normally buy into that hype but he only charged me $50 per pack that day so I got 2! Haven't popped them yet but when I do il let you know.

Ps. He also was very humble never claime his was better or the first. I seem to remember him saying him and Dutch passion developed it Independently of each other at about the same time. I felt his confidence in his strain to perform. He didnt need to hype it up or defend it or slander anyone.

I believe he supplied dutch passion with enough seeds to make the proper selection. I remember when DP first came out with them they specified they were authorized by DJ.
