The Urge To Purge

typically i just let my oil dry out until it's crispy. often takes a week or two. but i have a vacuum pump and i was bored so i went ahead and vacuum purged a dish of honey. it was fun. :-P

makes it look like a muffin. :)




they say it gets all the butane out. i can't see how there would be a lot trapped to begin with. and if any were left, wouldn't it simply burn off when the oil is smoked?

yea but when it burns its usually being funneled into your lungs. but i guess i can see how it get the butane out, pulling out the gas trapped inside? but who knows. looks like a fun process none the less.

i want to try to purge random things to see if they bubble as well. i don't have any "real" honey. but i may pick some up soon.

soda could be interesting.

maybe some guacamole.

purge marshmellos, ive seen them expand like 10xs normal size....guac..hhhmmm that could be interesting lol

i need to get myself an electric pump with a gauge for the vacuum pressure

mighty vac gets annoying after like 8 runs

try popcorn. see if it pops.

i like that last pic. if only there was a way to collect the gases coming out of the stuff
