Everyone and their brother grew this year, but they all have poop dope. I'm gonna tell you what I'm telling all these people. The first thing you can do that will immediately and dramatically improve your growing ability is to use professional seeds, use top rated strains that are tried and proven, that's the difference between swag and primo. Pay $10-20 for a single seed, it makes all the difference in the world.

Well, this old fart is too cheap to dole out that sort of coin for an uncertain product. Genetics being what it is & all.
If I'm unhappy with what I grow, I turn it into hash and add it to what I smoke.

I think the very last thing a new grower should do is buy top of line genetics for a shitload of money. Take a look around this section of the forums at the atrocities that first time growers tend to produce. Its discouraging enough as a novice to royally fuck up your first grow, but it is just that much worse if you fuck up with a pack you paid $300 for. Get some bagseed and see if you have the patience and knowledge to actually carry a plant all the way to harvest.
Anybody with enough grows under their belt to be worth listening to already understands that stong genetics are the way to go and will aquire them one way or another and newbies should be practicing with cheap/free seeds
