I disagree. I think there was some fucked up shit that happened between him and ricks wife, but there could be plausible explanations for all that.

But in reference to what he did to otis, it had to be done. It was either him, otis, or him AND otis AND carl. Both of them making it out at that point was no longer an option. He had only a few seconds to make a critical decision. I think between the two the obvious choice is self preservation. For carls sake it was better that shane survive also. He already had the medical equipment. It's not like shane was happy about it. He was clearly distraught. He didn't like it, he didn't want to do it, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do. He made the right call and I don't think anyone can begrudge him.

I don't know man, they could have use Otis in the long run.. When you think about it, Otis would owe his debt towards Rick for as long as this Zombie Apocalpyse last.. Shane's action shows me that he is a maniacal selfish prick who for some reason wants to owe Rick his own debt.. I think something is telling me that Shane feels really bad for knocking up his wife, or maybe there is more to it....

I don't think you can classify him as a maniacal selfish prick based on his actions with otis. He risks his own life to go get medical supplies for carl. He risks his own life trying to help otis so they all survive. He was put into a kill or be killed situation. He didn't have many options.

He could either:
Keep moving forward with otis and they both will be eaten within the next minute or two
Sacrifice himself so otis can keep going
Leave otis as bait so he can escape

Given the same 3 options I don't see how you could do anything different.

I feel you.This show got good potential but they brought in these bullshit characters.The chinese kids alright to.I liked dale until he tried to save that stupid blonde bitch.And then they got this grown ass man who they call fucking t dog lol.I crack up every time I hear dale say it.

like you said the logic on it is so fucking dumb.I still cant believe they were gonna try and save that well lol.

I finally got around to catching up on the last 2 episodes tonight, what is going on with this show?

First off, will somebody kill the blonde bitch already? Throw her suicidal gun crazy ass in the zombie barn where they apparently like to hold zombies hostage.
Second, why are the writers so damn lazy? Find the little girl dead or alive and lets get this fucking show on the road!
Third, why do the cops feel like they're in charge of everything? It's fucking zombie world, you're not cops anymore, get over it. Same with the old guys, I'm sick of the whole "respect your elders" mentality that's going on.. Sorry but if the zombies come rolling in, the old guys are just going to fall, break a hip, and get eaten alive.

And lastly, please keep the chick that the Chinese guy is fucking on the show. She's like the only hot one we have.

this whole season sucks,if they don't get into more action im gonna stop watching it cause making a zombie apocalypse a fucking drama just isn't gonna work.

And I found out they fired the original writers lmfao.I wish HBO would of made this instead,it would of been way better.
