I can smoke when biking but not when fighting. For me it depends on the activity.

great point.....never waste your breath on mediocre weed!......also, there is a huge difference between smoking organic weed vs. chem grown weed when it comes to negative affects on the lungs.ha ha, I almost exclusively use a bong... just a correction for the statement above. It is never "good" to smoke just "GooooooD smoke!!!"
Interesting claim. (I assume you mean synthetic vs organic, as it is all chemicals). Could you please provide a link to this information?great point.....never waste your breath on mediocre weed!......also, there is a huge difference between smoking organic weed vs. chem grown weed when it comes to negative affects on the lungs.
I do not doubt your experiences, I just hoped nug had a link so I could read more. AFAIK, scientific theory doesn't offer a clear suggestion as to why synthetics should be more harmful, so if there is a difference, I find it interesting and want to know about it, because science is always updating and learning new things. It wouldn't be the first time MJ growers have learned something before mainstream science, as research has been suppressed. Here is some Info.
Me and Jill only smoke our organic buds.
When we travel to events if we break that rule and smoke other peoples flowers it always destroys or throats and lungs and for days we don't feel right.
Thats kinda all the proof I need,

i have just learned how to listen to my body....that is the only real science i know........if we waited for all the "studies" and scientific data....we would all die waiting.......i will trust patient reports over "studies" any day of the week.I do not doubt your experiences, I just hoped nug had a link so I could read more. I would be interested in your thoughts about the mechanisms that make synthetics more detrimental to health. Not wanting to play devils advocate, just wanting to learn.
Ahh, I see, so you were just speaking your prerogative, fair enough.i have just learned how to listen to my body....that is the only real science i know........if we waited for all the "studies" and scientific data....we would all die waiting.......i will trust patient reports over "studies" any day of the week.
or for patients with auto-immune issues....an ache in the liver!......there are a lot of folks out there with extreme chemical sensitivities, including myself, and a few of the patients i work with.....it is only my perogative, but it is one that i trust from experience...peace/love, nugsIts ok The hydro versus Organics discussion has been going on since Over Grow.
One of my best mates is a Bio chemist and says a nutrient is a nutrient but us Organic lovers can taste and feel the difference
we call it a tickle in the throat

With the new research being done on medical MJ (and hopefully much more in the future) we may just find empirical evidence to support this, which is why I am always on the lookout. It would seem this chemical sensitivity would manifest when patients eat foods grown synthetically, and therefore have been noticed by medical science long ago. But we know cannabis is a unique plant in many ways with a complex chemical signature, so I am eager to see this studied. I think it is an important issue to sort out.or for patients with auto-immune issues....an ache in the liver!......there are a lot of folks out there with extreme chemical sensitivities, including myself, and a few of the patients i work with.....it is only my perogative, but it is one that i trust from experience...peace/love, nugs
i hear you bro.....but here is the way i see it....like politicians and now doctors, scientists are being lobbied by currupt corporations with selfish agenda.....my guess is 95% of all scientific study is biased, influenced by selfish motivations......we can't trust politicians for obvious reasons, doctors because of big pharma drug sale initiatives and incentives, and now unfortunately scientists......granted there are privately owned labs that are run with a clear conscience, but how long before corporate cancer works its way in....never underestimate the power of authority or the human condition........i believe real honest health care must come from a grass roots initiative....that is why i put so much faith in the feedback from the patients i work with, because no one knows their suffering like they do themselves...it is a sad truth that sometimes it takes one to get gravely ill to truley get a sense of how fucked up our so called heathcare system really is..............nerds unite....nugsWith the new research being done on medical MJ (and hopefully much more in the future) we may just find empirical evidence to support this, which is why I am always on the lookout.
