Oregon Blues = Oregon Diesel x Jamaican Blueberry

Sub has an article on the Oregon Diesel here on RIU...

  • Then there was the plant we had traveled so far to see, Oregon Diesel. Ray explained to me that it was a hybrid cross made using pollen from an auto flowering, hermaphroditic female Black Berry plant that he claimed was so potent it made you stupid. He used the pollen on a New York City Diesel female plant because his patients loved its potency and density. As Ray told me this project was 5 years in the creation and his goal was to make something that would make you stupid and have no ceiling.​




the Jamaican Blueberry has been in family for 3 generations apparently. I wasn't sure of this cross due to the extreme stretch but now, at 5 weeks, I think I have a keeper or 2...
 
Man that Oregon diesel is pretty impressive, it's crazy that none of the other strains have even started flowering.
Pretty cool! I just wanted to say thank you to Subcool for not only the show but for sharing what he's learned over the years.

Oregon Blues is NOT a TGA Test Strain. Some of us are running them for a friend of Subs, checking out the genetics.
 
finally got power back on today!!!

my girls at 58 days look half decent after 6 days of darkness. time wreck and dairy queen look like they haven't missed a beat. watered em up and they bounced back nicely. og 13 and sweet black angel just about lost all of their fans leaves, but look good otherwise.

vegging tent is a whole different story. i may be able to save one ace of spades and two grape 13. veneno, two grape 13 and three ace of spades are gone.

Just moved to NOLA 3 wks ago, 6 days no power , got it back on yesterday also so I am with ya Bro. ....and btw...fuck ya Isaac too !..
 
I wanted to repost this here since I AM a weed Nerd...Hope ya'll don't mind.



  • .in 1993 a head injury ended my regular life, I found Cannabis to help my condition to the point I am now a warrior for MMJ, the shit really works...So in my local quest for medical grade medicine , where I live it truly is a starting from scratch endeavor , I realized if I want it I'm going to have to grow it. Gulp ! Over 50 and starting an indoor grow in an unfriendly state , WITH a head injury....friggn' makes my toes curl up. I had some experience in high school horticulture for 4 years and have a knack for growing stuff, that said growing weed was a brand new bag. First off...where the fuck to getseeds? After a few weeks trying to find 1 seed...ANY seed , I found 1 seed in some weed that cost me $100 1/4, (wtf $100 for THAT amount ?). I went in the back yard with a Folgers can , dug up some dirt and away we go. I got a couple of grows under my belt, bad ones but still, I had sad little meds of a sort....So, I need to find out wtf I'm doing wrong, Internet is a wonderful thing, After many, many hours of study, head injury remember, the light pops on, SS and Genetics are the key to success, Enter Subcool...Vids on EVERYTHING starting from scratch ! It is a true treasure trove of knowledge, all ya have to do is follow the steps... This is why we fight in Sub's corner. He put it out there for everyone, even the haters , the info is solid. It has worked for me so far and Brother if I can do it , ANYONE can . As corny as it is, one day I aspire to be a Green Avenger ! Salute SubCool ! Hey weed nerds I'm going to pick one each of my ace of spades and cheese quakes to go into a big pot -- for each of these two strains, which is better to go with, the shorter, more compact phenos or the bigger, more vigorous growers? I've got 2 from each that represent these sides of the coin... but which to give a chance to truly shine? For the CQ, ironically the compact one has the thinner more sativa looking leaves, the more vigorous is getting big fat fan leaves and stretching'em wide. The AoS all look the same nice pretty shade of light green just one compact and one the biggest grower and shower of the bunch. Haven't sexed them yet.... i'll be looking for preflowers on the big ones... the small compact ones i'm going to hope/assume are female due to size.
 
I've been using the Lumiis. Much cheaper than the method sevens at 20 bucks, and work just as well. EVERYONE should have a pair of these in their grow room. Being able to see your plants is pretty dang important.

Lumii / Method Seven tip: You can hold the glasses in front of your camera lens and take photos in HPS lighting...
