If you google the Hardy-Weinberg model of Genetic Equilibrium and learn it then you'll get a better grasp of how dominant traits and recessive traits along with a formula to calculate your odds of getting certain pheno and genetic traits. But most of this is useless unless you have the ability to grow out hundreds if not thousands of plants at once to see the trend in the traits then go off from that test crop and get good numbers. Learn your ladies, then move onto what you want out of your ladies. Just find the right stud and they will make wonderful babies, all these genetic variation is why I love 3D, it's like a box of chocolates having 3 different strains with many many phenos and traits to chose from you never know what your gonna get but it's always awesome. I beleive someone can continually breed within 3D with all it's pheno combinations and never get bored, and when you do throw it into anything you want to finish quick lol.
