Jings.Republicans were ok with what trump was doing AS LONG AS Trump remained president. They were ok with any means necessary. It’s sad they claim to be Americans
I refer you to my previous post.

Again, tell that to the one party obstructing progress (and actively rolling it back: gerrymandering, voter restriction laws, assaults on reproductive and secual freedoms) due to having adopted wholesale a “platform” built on lies and intending to undo a Republic by, of and for the people.I'm not incorrect at all. How can my opinion be wrong? My opinion is what I posted above and I stand by it. In a democracy we cannot afford to view our political opponents as the enemy because that's when it starts to get physical. That's when we start to demonise others for their political opinion which leads to some horrid shit. (eta: like that storming of the Capitol)
My "dog in this hunt" is that I see the polarisation of our society as a very bad and dangerous thing and not what democracy is supposed to be about. We cannot have a successful democracy without compromise.
Then why did they vote en bloc to thwart the impeachments and the 1/6 probe?Ding ding ding we have a winner. Careful though - there is no grey area here.
R = Trumptard insurrectionist. D = the saviors of mankind and all things good, moral, and true
As an outsider looking in (as deluded as you think I may be) it looks as though both sides of the American politics are just as guilty for polarising. Look at your own posts to me in this thread for my evidence of such.I agree that the polarization of our society is a very bad thing. It is important to know that almost every bit of polarizing disinformation is coming from one political party: the Treason Party.
Look harder and use better sources. You are carrying authoritarian water and propagating engineered lies.As an outsider looking in (as deluded as you think I may be) it looks as though both sides of the American politics are just as guilty for polarising. But sure, feel free to call (what, around 50%?) of your country as the enemy. It's them doing the polarising though, aye?
but what vehicle or institutions would you task with enforcement? Are you suggesting new laws? Everything you’ve described is either legal or illegal at a certain point. Where is the fix while also adhering to things like the 1st and 4 amendments? Catching lunatics is extremely vague and would flow with the wind between whatever administration is in power.I'm just talking about catching lunatics, not restricting their speech. Can you get an internet account without showing ID? How about a drivers license to drive a car? or even registering a car and getting plates? This just make it harder to utter threats to people, not just public officials. People are resigning from important public offices because of it, the right wing nuts who replace them don't get told, they will come to their house and cut their children's throat in front of them, if they are for masks at the school board meeting.
The SCOTUS decides what's is constitutional and this is, even calling the losers for voice samples.
Look harder and use better sources. You are carrying authoritarian water.
How else should I take it when a minority is trying to disenfranchise the majority of voters in this country? So you're saying about 40% (give or take) of your country are an enemy?
Putin is rubbing his hands with glee to that one, I reckon.
Not when you pimp for traitors.
Just keep proving me right, brother. I'm a lefty as it it happens, though a very rare one in this current climate - I fight for workers rights.
If you say so, champ.53% of Republicans view Trump as true U.S. president -Reuters/Ipsos
I'm a Brit, mate. You're all fucking traitorsNot when you pimp for traitors.
Closer to 49%. They’re easy to spot too. They’re proud of being traitors. So you're saying about 40% (give or take) of your country are an enemy?
Did I say all republicans? However, those who want to illegally overthrow the government are all republicans though. They are the ones passing the anti democratic voting restriction laws in response to the big lie, or trying to. They are also the ones engaging in election fraud, making most of the death threats and committing over 90% of the terrorism. Why should they be treated any differently than the Black Panthers? All Republicans tried to overthrow democracy? If that were the case, the coup would have yielded very different results.
That explains a lot.I'm a Brit, mate. You're all fucking traitors
eta: and BTW, I'm not pimping for anyone and I'm certainly no fan of the Trumptard. I'm only saying it's not healthy to view half your country as traitors just because they vote differently from you.
It does, does it? I thought Democrats were against racism etc? That explains a lot.
Fuck tea, it tastes of boredom. He's not wrong, despite his abhorrent tea habit.
The fact that you thought it was a funny joke explains a lotIt does, does it? I thought Democrats were against racism etc?
What is it that it explains (other than your ability to not see a joke)?
And yet you post and praise the lies of the hard right, currently the both sides troll and the left troll, along with the nonsensical “they’re not traitors, they just vote differently”. Where do you go to stock up on alt-fact? What are your go-to news organs?I'm a Brit, mate. You're all fucking traitors

Lying about your heritage. Sure you’re not Republican?Fuck tea, it tastes of boredom.
I'm only a Brit by legalities. I'm actually Scottish, but the joke wouldn't have worked if I'd said that.
