I have heard about this for more resin production. i was thinking I would add some smaller reptile UV bulbs towards the last weeks of flowering.TANNING BULB??
I always stick a halide back in the last 14 days and off for a week, to get them to put out as much resin. Halides uv rays make the plants try and protect themselves with the resin glands. SO.......I was wondering if anyone has tried to supplement with a tanning bulb? Is that crazy? I could only imagine that a tanning bulb or two, with regular HID would make em squirt crazy style!!! WHUDAYA think??

I use a 430w Son Agro with 30% blue spectrum throughout flowering and this seems to work well for me. I always have heavy thick trichome growth.TANNING BULB??

Ahhhh reptile bulb. I knew there was something along the lines of a tanning bulb, for uv rays. Probably ALOT easier. My ladies are squirting pretty well now. I just had a wake-n-bake moment and thoughtI have heard about this for more resin production. i was thinking I would add some smaller reptile UV bulbs towards the last weeks of flowering.
With the tanning bulbs I think it would get a little too complicated. You need another ballast to run those.
Also They have to be on a separate timer.
And You do not want to be in the room with that bulb is on.
I want mad resin too but I dont want to risk Cancer to achieve it.

I use my AGROMAX chrome dome lights for bud growth and final flower swelling, but after swelling has stopped I switch back to my HORTILUX blues for resin. So I think its basically achieving the same thing.I use a 430w Son Agro with 30% blue spectrum throughout flowering and this seems to work well for me. I always have heavy thick trichome growth.

how long now ?
I had an HoG indica
that was done 2 weeks
ago , same grow ...
Looks real good. Im about to transplant into some real soil.so i topped her about three days ago and she seems to be doing fine....what do you guys think another week before veg or is she ready now?? Let me know what you guys think of her
I think yellowing is N not heat, but whats the temp in the room? The two at the back and the 3 in smaller pots are white widow. The two at the back have had their leaves go evenly yellow in the past few days, N deficiency? Or too hot?
She's in a 5 gal bag and is 32" tall. She hermied last week but none of the clones hermied. They all went 12/12 at the same time in the same box. None of the other strains have hermied.
I've been picking off the few bannanas that show up. Would you guys keep doing that or get rid of it? I don't want to get rid of it because she's huge and beautiful but I also don't want it to seed the rest of my 12 plants.....
Oh ya the White Widow is from Green House Seeds. Not to happy with the mix pack I got from them. Two didn't germ (Big Bang and El Nino) and now the hermi....
