I had this in the plant hospital board but...
Finally got a good flushing in them yesterday. Waited way too long cus I hoped the lower fan leaves were dying cus they werent getting enough light, and it would stop. A lot of lower leaves have died. I think I got them a little salty, since theyve been in these stupid containers for a month now I havent allowed any runoff out the bottom. And I use tap water after it sits a day.
I have gone light on nutes so dont think its that as much as the not flushing cus the containers are crammed in my growbox and hard to remove.
Read on if you really wanna know my grow stats-
250 hps week 3 flower. Kinda small pots (Two 4 Gal) 4 plants just over 2 ft tall. Sunshine potting soil with a 4-4-4 organic granular fert added. Gave a bit of molasses and 5-1-1 fish fert during veg. Little micro nutes. Bloom gave a liquid 0-10-10 half strenght once and some guano .5-15-0.
Kept them a little wetter then I wanted too cus I was drenching soil with spinosad and BT for fungus gnats. Temps aprx 75 day 63 night. Humidity 30-50%.
some info out there points towards a deficiency not an overdose of P or K. But I wouldnt think my plant would keep budding good and looking normal otherwise. It seems like in deficiencies the whole plant looks stunted and sick, and I wouldnt think the leaves would crumble and die like they are, seems like they should change color awhile and let me know what they need.
Ive never been so cautious on my nutes before, but Ive never done indoors before either. I think the pots were too small and I wasnt letting any runnoff clear my soil. I dont worry about PH even tho our water is notoriusly alkaline. I think if your pots are big enough its more forgiving.
