Hey Motoracer110, I've been looking into getting an 400 HPS. and I was wounderin if I could use that for veg as well as flower??
yes that is not a problem as a lot of growers do that. I bought my light from www.htgsupply.com and it came with both bulbs for a reasonable price I highly suggest looking into them.

yes, my pump is constantly running. Im doing this kinda like the N.F.T. technique only in a different way pretty much for two reasons. the roots always have nutrients whenever they need them, and almost every pot already has roots growing on the outside where the water drains and if my pump were to shut off they would dry up really fast. I have a really big fish air pump always keeping a good amount of oxygen to the water as well.

Im already on the 7th day of flower and one of my WW plants is for sure a girl 
all of the other plants are starting to show signs of sex but still too early to tell. Ill probably have to wait another week or so. the tallest plant is already 23 inches so thats a growth of about 13 inches since last week 
one of my free seed plants is looking all weird with the leafs and i think it just has bad genetics so we will see what it dose. everything looks kinda crouded now but when i get rid of the males i should have a lot more space---------------------- Grow on!!!!

Sad day out of 10 plants there are only 2 females. On the bright side they are both white widow 
I think this is my last grow with seeds that are not feminized. Ill post up some pics in a bit.

I am about two weeks behind you. I am looking at the same size and time frame as you. I did all Fem becouse last time out of 15 only three came out girls. Looks good. I will be keeping up with it.

I didnt get any cuttings from the two WW just because im thinking about getting a different strain like cheese and ice fem seeds. ill update all of you with some pictures tomorrow during the light cycle. Im glad i at least get some bud out of this grow

I think it is better to get clones then put your plants into flower then kill the clones that are under the 20 hr light cycle that are male when you find out what they are from the already growing plants.

dang that dose suck, it makes me feel a little better that im not the only one. Ya totally going fem seeds from here on out. im done wasting my time with the guess work.

sorry for no update in a while. here is the Two White Widow plants that are left. sadly 8 of the ten plants were male I have my nutrients now at full strength and not noticing any burning so i should get some dense crystals pretty soon. Im also pretty happy on the height level of the plants pretty much right where i wanted them to get. I also added two 300 watt CFL's that i found at home depot for only $13 a pop so i added them to the grow. enjoy!!Attachments

The new lights look great. Nice score. I don't care much for Home Depot but I might have to go and get some of them. great progress, what day did you go to 12/12?

Thanx Hatfield. I started flowering on the 21st day of veg. when the plants were about 10 in tall

just letting you know, those CFL's are 68 watts, equivalent to 300 watts incandescent light. Aka, an additional 136 watts
