Excellent thread Moto, I'm getting ready to purchase a secret jardin 120, about the same size of your tent and I must say you've taught me alot, Thank You Sir!! the only thing thats holding me up is deciding what watt set up I want, 4 or 600? I'm new to this and have been told that I should go 600 because of better growth but these are the sales people at the hydro stores that are telling me this, looks like you did great with your set up! are you happy that you went 400 watts instead of somthing more? and I was wondering if you or anyone else could give some in-fo on how much more heat to expect from a 600 watt system over a 400, in a tent?? thanks again Moto for this thread, Great Job!!

I am using 2 600's in a 4x8x7 sunhut xxl, with reflector heat shields, 6" fan cooling both sealed reflectors and the temp is 70 degrees. I just added the shields and the temp dropped by over 10 degrees.

Anyone interested in a good Organic Ganja Coconut Oil? I'm a health nut so i eat coconut oil daily because its the best for you. It also is the BEST OIL for making GANJA butter for cooking!!!! It has properties in it (because it is 100% fat, mostly saturated) that just want to make love to the THC and properties in the ganja. So its a pretty great oil that becomes highly potent, more than regular butter. Also improves metabolizm for all us munchie eaters. I will be making it after a couple of months once I harvest. Hello Baked, Im located in colorado and the bill only went up about $35. Keep in mind that im only running one air pump, a water pump, 400 watt bulb, two 68 watt fluro's and a little wallmart fan. I dont mind at all that you posted here, i like to hear what anyone has to say so post away.

Hello yet, you are going to love the jarden 120. I have a friend that has that exact same tent and it is awesome (good Choice). Personally I would go with a 600 watt light, with the added lumens you are going to get fatter buds and with the more penitration of the light you are going to get better looking buds all the way down the plant. You might get heat issues, I always had a few rises in temp on hotter days so if i were to get the 600 watt and do it all over again i would deff get the air cooled hood with a inline fan just to keep the temp more steady with no spikes.

The day has finally come I have heard a lot of people say that grow tents are overrated, I can honestly say that they are AWESOME!!!! My Yield was way higher then growing in a closet like my last grows (the buds are way fuller). I forgot how long only 2 plants take to harvest. With me and one of my friends it took us about 4 hours. Ok so i have been reading around and some people like to let their plants go into 24hrs of darkness before they harvest claiming that the plants will push out a final punch of THC. I have not found any evidence that says this is true, but i thought why not? So my plants were in 24hrs of complete darkness before i cut them down. I can personally say that right when i made my cuts the stems did not drip with liquid like my last harvest when i did not do the 24hrs of darkness so i think this batch will cure really nicely. When cutting down the plants I just cut about a 12 inch section at a time that way im not setting my buds on the table knocking off crystals. they are always suspended. Here are the pics...........Im still in the process of making the hash and should be done tomorrow so ill get that tutorial up by then. Thank you funk, everything is pretty well cured and smokes great!!!!! probably has another 4 days of finishing. HAHA ya i have a bunch of these closets in my house and dont really know the meanning of them, but they make great curing closets

Hey blue sorry for the late reply, ive been getting high all the time now and have been really lazy not getting to my computer. Thats really odd, my humidity in the grow room was at 60% give or take a few. It could be that i had water running since day one so the plant was used to getting that amount........but im still a little lost at finding a answer. you might just want to water 3-4 times a day and that is it, going back to what the text books say.

Hey Moto, what were your final numbers on your widow grow??

Hey Yet, I weighed everything the other day and the crop is pretty dry and cured and it came out to 10.2 oz. I keep the moisture level of the buds dry to the touch, but if you grind it up it gets sticky to pinch. so fully dry about 8 but where i like it its at 10.2 so average is 5 oz a plant and couldn't be more happy.

Hello I've read through ur entire grow moto and I'm impressed. I'm planning on attempting a similar hydro WW grow but I had a few questions I started em in. One in. Rockwool and clay pellets/coco. I assume that wont b enough room to hold a large plant so if I transfer the cube how big of a rockwool slab would u recommend putting it into. Also I would like any input on foxfarm nutes I'm gonna try them first so I hope it works well for hydro. I'm also interested in the medium u are using is it more expensive? Benefits? Ty for ur time in advance
