ps3 all the way! no ring of death, blue ray, rechargable controllers standard, streaming browser, not to mention not havin to pay for an online account! bill gates can suck it lol but yea only thing xbox has over ps is game selection...

Well i own all systems from my original pong setup to every current platform and I also repair them and by far the xbox 360 console is the best platform and system around next to computer system gaming. Its graphics and processing are superior to ps3, more games, better online community, easier to customize and tweak, wireless N connection ability,streaming netflicks, wireless transfer and integrated media center ability. Yes they have the red ring of death which is a simple fix but sony has the YLOD yellow light of death the exact same issue and now in just as many ps3 consoles. I repair just as many sony ps3 YLOD as RROD xbox 360 units. Another draw back is sonys blu ray lasers are weak and fail very often and the cost of replacingthe laser is a nice little price to the average user.Ps3 has only G wireless speeds and the online community is crap and they have no games so overall the xbox 360 is the by far head and shoulders winner.The wii is just garbage for kids.If your over 12 and play wii you need help....side not if your using facebook and twitter you need help and are a looser too..lol...ps. You dont have to pay for online usage with xbox 360 they give you tons of free ways that take like 5 seconds to get a free month pass and the xbox360 has an online browser to install and chat pad for full keyboard chat from your controller...Sony my friend can eat a dick

lol well...im no computer guru, but ive owned 3 xboxs and only 1 playstation. not knockin the xbox, yea its got more of an online community, but i had to buy an antenna to get wireless connection, with ps3 i did not. ive yet to experience (or even hear of) the YLOD or blu-ray laser failure. just sayin, me personally, and everyone that i kno that games, have went thru 3 n 4 times as many xboxs as playstations. but in xbox's defense, for sum reason, they all seem to think that constantly shipping bak n forth n spendin money to get their xbox's back is worth it to them. im sure if i had plenty of money to blow on electronics id b right there with them but playstation has just been reliable and cheaper for me...course i could be eatin my words when xbox brings out their motion cam...wat is it? the Natal? or somethin? saw a vid of that, now thats sum pretty sick shit lol

well xbox will will send you a prepaid box if you have the red rings you put the broken one in then ship it they send a new one with the new fox conn board in it free with a new one year warranty so the cost is nothing..If you havent heard of the yellow light of death your not really into the ps3 community or online much just go goolge ylod or yellow light of death thousands and thousands of complaints ebay has tons for sale. Its the same as the 360 you just have to replow the GPU chip back to the mother board add a copper heat sink disperser and its fixed but they both use low temp lead solder that melts and releaes at to low a temp about 215 degress which if you play action games doesnt take long to reach.Yeah i played withNatal already and its a neat add on better then wii for sure but but I dont get into all that full body gaming i prefer basica controllers the next gen xbox is a beats too.Sony charges $199 to fix the ylod issue and you pay to ship. The blu ray issues is a $199 fix by sony too. They wont acknowledge the issues but there is a class action lawsuit just as xbox 360 had for this issue.I will say the ps3 is sleeker looking but you cant upgrade the wireless from G to N like the 360 as it was made to be upgraded unlike ps3 and since blu ray is now outdated it will be pointless technology for the ps3 your paying ton extra for blu ray and it wont support the new blu ray versions including the new blu ray 3d movies or the ultra Blu ray upscaling features so its basically a high dollar dead drive thats faulty as the eyes burn. i replace probably 10 a weeek on the lasers alone. i only charge $90 instead of $199 like sony would..When i fix the rrod I have had 1 come back in 4 years out of roughly 1200 repairs so not bad ..If microsoft fixes it then yeah you might have issues as they just put a new board in thats been refurb using same solder and flux

yeah, i mean everyone i kno thats went thru 5 or 6 xboxs are hardcore gamers, on them for hours a day. with work n the garden, dont leave much time for gamin, so yea im usually only playin for a few hours a week. i will say tho, xbox fans are DIE HARD for their shit lol theres somethin about xbox thatll keep em comin bac even after many RROD. but again, im not hardcore gamer, so whats the G and N wireless upgrades your talkin about??

Lets see i have had 3 xbox360 that have gone down.All with in a years time, and i still am using my original PS3 20 GIG.
Every one i know who owns a xbox 360 says it sucks other than games title.
So for me it is ps3 only,I am in the home theater buisness and the ps3 blue ray performance out does alot of expensive just blue ray players.

PS3 shits on 360 with graphics and free wireless/psn network thats all I need.
And I had my PS3 for almost 4 years and its still going strong my 360's broke a few times each before finally deciding to sell them,all within a year each.

The ps3 is also getting a firmware upgrade to enable 3d bluray for games and movies.Who gives a fuck about wireless g or n?my shit is fine online and doesn't lag at all and all I got is dsl internet,it didn't even lag when I was stealing off my neighbors wireless.
It sucks though I gotta sell my ps3,But I'll probably get a slim later on.

PS3 in my opinion for 3 reasons
free online play
blue-ray(since HD took a dive)
better graphics
The WII is a fucking joke 3rd gen console my ass the graphics are a step away from atari(ok not that bad but you get the point)
Xbox has to many modders and hackers not to mention having to pay to play online. I do think the live marketplace and arcade are far superior to PSN though
