The yellow spots blah blah, water bleaching question!!

So when the plants were young and short with leaves getting splashed a bit during waterings I was seeing yellow spots. Yellow spots on the leaves that from all the research I could do seemed to be caused by droplets of water causing the light to be magnified thus bleaching those spots. Easily solved: Don't spill water on the leaves. But, I've read that toward the end of the plants life its good practice to spray bottle the leaves and flowers? How do you avoid bleaching the fuck out of your plants? I don't really see how I could do it in the dark... Am I missing something??

some people foiliar spray there plant for either feeding through the leaves or bug control, not recommended during flowering because of mold issues and who whants to be smokeing bug sprays?most people turn the lights off and let plant dry for like 15 min or so.and little yellow dots could also be spider mites.

Yea aint mites... Been pretty lucky thus far with pests. I had clear water dropped shaped yellow spots on leaves I specifically remember getting wet... But what you say is interesting. I've read that when flowering they are less able to pull water from the roots? I dunno man googling a question gets like 1500 contradicting responses. For some reason I felt like you needed to spray bottle the plant towards the end... Maybe before any buds? I dunno... don't know don't know don't know don't know

Good ventilation is your friend! Use clean R/O or rain water. Spray earlier in the day so they have all day to dry out. Keep plants farther from lights if you need to.

Usually what is the cause of this is mostly the nutes in the water, cause of the salts in combination with the fact that the water does magnify the light is why u'll get those burns. But yeah if u want to do a foliar spray with nutes just do it like 15-20min before you turn ur lights on, sometimes I will spray down my plants with plain water even with the lights on, to me it doesn't seem to harm the plants
