yeah most of my thread is gone. I'm on the way to the hydro shop right now to pick up the HPS and some tea; will be transplanting when I get back so lok for a new update. I still have all of the photos so I might do a page-long synopsis to bring it current. I think there's a learning curve for every grower and it takes time to gain the working knowledge to "do it right", regardless of all of the information available out there you have to get dirty to define a style. Organics is treating me right though man and the soil science is intriguing.

Are you growing in super soil? I'm going to try subcool recipe next grow. I'll add molasses throughout but primarily just add water.

Your right though it definately takes some trial and error to learn even the just about how to set things up. You can read and read but you still gotta have some hands on to learn how to control climate and have a smart layout so that you can access the room. Just because you might have a 4x6 closet doesnt mean you should be filling it entirely with plants... gets damn hard to water those plants or pull out dead leaves or move the plants around or adjust lights. A big room with a table in the center and mylar draped around the sides... that will be my next approach, I think it is going to make everything alot easier.

I just transplanted them into Super Soil yesterday, stepped them up from #1 to #5. The #3's were not deep enough to put a layer of SS in the bottom. I also just started giving them molasses with their weekly tea and man they seem to be loving it.

I think the most important thing with soil and organics, knowing what I know now, is planning. You have to take into account how long you're keeping them in whatever containers they're in and feed accordingly or amend ahead of time, like with SS, and allow time for the amendments to be broken down. That way you won't be trying to over-compensate with nutrients if a deficiency pops up.

It's funny you mention grow layout. I only have four plants in a 3'x3' tent and access had not been an issue before moving up to #5's. Access still really isn't an issue but now when I feed them I have to lug their heavy asses out of the tent.. and they ARE fucking heavy, especially just after feeding.

I need to update my thread, got a few new pictures.

It's been 7 years. After the server got hacked I think I lost momentum on posting updates.
I ended up with 3.5 pounds of pretty decent bud. The pollination wasn't as complete as I had thought and most of the bud was seedless.

Oh yea and weed is legal now in Canada!
They legalized last October, so I'm here to see what kind of outdoor grows Canadians have going now.
