ok.... so I didn't play in the dirt...... I ended up weed eating... hehe.... anyone ever weed eat 10 acres on a hillside? Found lots of cool stuff.... wheels, a barrel, chunks of concrete, a full six pack of beer thats gotta be about ten years old, and a really old boat even! A good friend dropped off some soil ammendments, :), about the same amount I gave away....... so I can put up a couple more 2x2x1 raised beds before I rut out of amendments and lumber again.... I have to say.... Im at the very least, very pleased and proud of all of the other (not pictured) landscaping I have gotten done since we moved in. As you can tell by the pictures in the beginning of the journal, the property was fairly heavily forested, and hadn't been maintained for at least 6-10 years...... now it is open, it is more and more beautiful.... it is enjoyable to behold..... and my vegetables are really starting to perk back up too...... thanks in part to lavenderstars..... yummy strawberries, radishes, lettuces, tomatoes (Grape, Cherry, Big Beef, Steak, and a couple others), snap peas, peppers, cucumbers, watermelon, squash, cauliflower, broccoli, (bell, Anaheim Chiles etc.), corns going to be planted soon too.... Im sure I forgot about some... oh yeah, lots of garden herbs too! And once all the edibles are going good and established, I'm going to start planting more flowers! In fact certain strains of cannabis will be put out in certain spot specifically for their color and aroma!

Oh and I am smoking another bowl by myself again.... hehe..... wish you (any/all) were here to share it and more......

Thanks for stopping by my friend. Still bummed, but we are working it out, ;). I will get there.... despite any obstacles, we will get there.

But how about this weather? Snowed slush for about 15 minutes yesterday. Mostly light sprinkling and misting yesterday besides that. Today was misty and sprinkling until the mid afternoon. Its been raining nicely for the last couple of hours though, and is supposed to clear up, and start warming up tomorrow. This has all worked out well for the plants outside, as they were due for a watering yesterday anyways. This rainfall is providing them a light watering that should see them through the next few sunny days before I have to water/transplant them, so all worked out well. And I will be planting more in raised beds as the moon waxes myself. And as these seedlings continue to show sex of course. At a loss for materials at the moment, but have decided to just pull together what is around, and see how that settles before buying any additional materials.

I pulled in a bunch of Chemo Cindies that I was letting finish outside. Pulled them in right before the rain came, and I am glad I did. They have powdery mildew showing and they are 8 weeks into flower., the humidity from the storm would have reaked havoc on them an the PM would have ruined them if I had left them out. So I am chopping them all before the powdery mildew takes over or develops any farther, it is all still good, might loose a couple grams to the PM.... and it isn't all fully fully mature.... but close enough. Rather something decent than nothing at all ;).

Started Indoors.... in strait Bio Bizz All Mix.

8- Grapefruit X NYCD

8- "Red Buddha"

and they should be a little more than a foot tall in a month.... when they start showing sex and going outside. 1 transplant while indoors, then 1 when they go outdoors, and that should do it :). I will get pics of them up sometime after they sprout, before they go outside ;)

Lets hope for some more females eh? ;)

good luck on the good female ratio. good thing you caught the pm before it was too late, hope the yield still turns out good bro.

these Chemo Cindies were put outside in the beginning of March, and flowered for 6 weeks outside before I brought them into the indoor flowering room half way through April (after they had been rained and snowed on, and seen many frosty nights). They stayed inside for about 3 weeks, and then went back outside about a week ago and I was going to let them go until the 1st of June. So with all the back and forth, the this and that they went through, I am happy with any yield at all. These Chemo Cindies are all in 1 gallon pots (which I don't normally use during flower, and now I remember why), and they kept drying out practically overnight which was a real hassle. I don't like to water/feed any more than every three days, but with them it was every day and a half, and for a few every day (really messing with the amount of nutes I gave them etc.). Their pots didn't dry out evenly from plant to plant, so I had to check on them more often and even more individually, and try to give them even more attention than I had time to give them. From here on out it will either be 3 or 5 gallon pots for flower on any plants I veg longer than 3 weeks. The 1 gallon pots I have found work well in a SOG, but not with plants that vegged for 3 weeks or longer.
So all that being said, I think I am impressed with the outcome (the strain). The buds that are hanging look and smell nice, and their is a decent amount of buds per square inch. I am currently getting ready to do some SOG and SCROG comparisons under 400W HID's and pot size differences will be one of the variables. I want to see if I am correct about the veg time to pot size ratio, and technique to pot size to bud size/harvest weight etc.

thanks for bringing up the importance of pot sizing. i, too, prefer to water every three days, work smarter not harder. i'd hate to have to water every day!

Sounds like things are coming along? The weather here has been very strange for May, we too had hail and temps were in the low 50s for the hi. Wish you the best..

things are getting there... slowly but surely, and my method as of the moment.... is pure uncertainty. Wierd weather..... I wish it was.... but with the way we have treated out mother earth, it is to be expected. I have seen it before, in people, as a prime example: Single Mother has her children, holds three jobs, going to college, she works, and learns, and loves, and teaches, but she doesn't sleep, she doesn't rest, she is not being loved and nourished, and the father spirit is chased away by the wicked sorts in our world, and she is getting weaker and sicker as her children grow stronger, unable to provide as she once did. So when her children are mature and ready to see, they see her and come to understand her condition, and now must care for her, as she once cared for them, to love and nurture her back to good health, that she may continue to bestow her wisdom and life on them, and the next generations to come.
So the weather is to be expected I suppose, but I sure do wish it wasn't. Thank you for your kind wishes Hodgegrown, Hulk Nugs, and Drella. Us brethren, and our mother.

electricity is scheduled to go off tomorrow. If it does, everything goes outside.

I am being haunted by nightmares every night now. Nightmares always about the same thing.... losing that which matters most. Im not sleeping these days.
