i can see where hes comming from, i mean im not a veteran grower but sometimes it can be to much to handle, especially when you have a family to worry about. soon enough spring will return from its sleep, and you can start again, atleast you got something out of it!

totally understand it sucks to have invested so much and then have alt taken away especially by mother nature kinda ironic.

You all act like you were his partner or somthing.I love pot too,and hate to see plants go to waste.But these plants aren't yours,or mine.Thier his.It is his loss.I just don"t understand why you all are so worried about it.You all act like you all are gettin screwed over or somthing???

most of the loss is from how and where it is being dried. 95% was definitely an exageration on losses to make it feel more acceptable to me. I am sure I will get more than that. So far only two braches have been a total loss from what has been harvested.... but to expect the rest of this process to go too well would be foolish, this storm is supposed to last another three days. All indoor drying options have been exhausted. I will do what I can with what I have, and be happy with what I get out of it all. As are my patients, and that is what is most important. Im happy with how things are going at the moment, for the most part. Nothing will be wasted, :). And yeah, family has to always come first. And work. When my life settles down a good bit I will be in a better place to grow a good size crop to fruition without so many hitches. SO that is the way things will have to go.
If so many external things hadn't happened, the crop would have been more than managable. Fact is I got screwed financially and wasn't able to provide what I had planned, and didn't have enough resources in materials to provide adequately for them, or time, as I have been so busy making a living and providing a home for my family. Its all good, I'm happy with it.... maybe everyone will feel better after I post pics..... gotta find that damn camera....

Wow man, what a deal. I know your pain as I lost some of my garden up here at my house(not my big grow on here) I live in a high elevation area with alot of trees blocking my light, so the plants stretch and get really top heavy, so when we got a surprise thunderstorm at 3 am the other night, I wasn't ready for it, and it took alot out. Broken branches everywhere on plants that neede another 2 weeks, and cooler temps now is going to bring on the bud rot. I was literally in tears pullin the broken mess out of the garden, knowing it was worthless after 6 months of pouring heart and soul into them...it's tough. The good news is the thunderstorms didn't hit the big garden until the next day right after I got all the covers up, so we didn't have any losses down there. Most are done down there anyway and we have started the harvesting process. I 'm sorry to hear about your losses and I hope too that everyone learns something from it. I went through this last year here at my house, and that's why I grew my main garden elsewhere this year.

You live outside or something? why not dry them in your house? or a friends? shit if you get 12 pounds that's over 30k. more than enough to help in financial troubles. it might suck to have pot all over the house or having to pay a friend to use their house, but if you dry it all shitty you aren't gonna make anything off it. hope everything works out for you! :leaf::leaf:

Sorry to hear of your troubles my friend. I didn't build anything to cover my outisde plants either. This will not be the case next year, I will be putting up some type of framed support so I can put up plastic in October. So far I have been fortunate though and have had good weather. I am hoping the 95% thing is a big exageration, because that would be a shame. Knowing you, 95% means that most of it didn't come out as top quality due to the early havest and trying to harvest all at once. I am sure you will have a nice haul when it is all said and done, maybe just not up to TLD standards. I agree though man, with the posts about better planning next year. I realize you like to do everything yourself, but recruiting some help next year or planitng less plants might be a good idea. There is no doubt that you have an incredible knowledge of marijuana cultivation, so to see the little things that could have made such a big difference in the final product is a shame. I would love to see you have the right planning and help, to bring these ladies to perfection.
I also agree that you are one of the biggest sources of information on this site, so I am not doubting your ability man. I know if you had your shit together, you could grow some of the most kind bud known to man. Good vibes to you my friend!

Thank you very kindly my friend...... you were right about my exagerating the 95% loss..... probably only losing about 15% total, but what is not premie isn't getting the best dry and cure this year.... I sure am hoping next year is a lot better too, just not sure right now.... too many things to work out before now and then.

yea, man keep diggin' buddie, it seems like every time I think I'm gonna do real good I don't, and when it looks like it's gonna be bad, it never turns out as bad as I thought. I know really ripped now and don't know if that made any sense, but, I believe your gonna do better than you think right now.....I can just feel it.

Garden was ripped.... all 4 of the PK, the Maui Skunk, and 1/3 of the Blueberry Maui Skunk, and almost all of the Jack Herer were taken. Cut down by a chainsaw. Gotta find out who did it now....

Stealing a man's Jack Herer should invoke mandatory sentencing of 5 years in a detention camp.

Hope you find them and handle it the old way TLD.

Sorry to hear that TLD. I too got ripped. Went out to the site today and saw where someone had cut the top two colas of the big bud and about half the remaining mexican strain plant. Obviously I went ahead and harvested what was left. Luckily for me they left more than they took. Still not happy about it, as I am sure you aren't about yours either.
