There be bugs in thar!

u sure they aint springtails do they jump when u blow on them

i just saw these today, i don't think they match what you all have said so far...... they look like little lady bugs, but they have an elongated shape and are about 1/5 the size. pic attached. anyone know what they are or if they are life threatening?

are there any bugs that are beneficial to plants, such as a bug that eats other bugs?
