Sorry, new guy here, but maybe can fire up some input and offer a bit of help. Tell us more about your water. Are you running RO? 700ppm tap water that dissolves litmus paper? What are your starting PPM and PH? What temperature is your solution at?
Easier than what, what are you doing now?
My bottle of GH pH down says 1tsp per gallon to lower pH by 1.0. What does yours say?

Bro what do u mean its taking you too long to get it down. Have you got a good meter, try another one and compare, ph up and down, good size res 100L +, Whats the medium?
Also get it 5.8 or get nute lockout ,not 5.7.
Sounds like your a begginer, dont worry bro in time you know how many tsp to get it to 5.8. Ph can be a trap for young players, its something you must learn yourself as all ops fluctuate a little different to others.

Well I'm using tap water that starts off at about 6.5 ph, I'm using hydro ebb and flow. I am trying to get the PH down to 5.8, but every time I either put too much and the ph get too low or I don't put enough. I eventually get it right, I'm just wondering if there is an easier way like a more exact way. Like putting 1 tsp per gallon just seem to much because I'm using 20 gallons in my res, so that would be 20 tsp I think that's a little much.

I use 1 tsp of GH PH down per every 2 1/2 gallons. My water is usually 7.0, and I bring my PH down to 5.7-5.9
Some people may have the same question you do, and people look in hopes someone may have answered. Or just wanted to read it, but didn't have an answer.
Lol thanks for quoting me! Huh ppm lol you learn something new everyday, I do not have a ppm meter. I will get a ppm meter 2moro, what is the best reading on that meter like what number should I be aiming for? I will try to aim for 1 tsp per 3-4 gallons. I will go 2moro to buy a digital ph meter and a digital ppm meter, cause I think that 1 I have is garbage, cause it's just a stick with some numbers.
