My wife and I know a guy that is "bi", so pretty much gay as far as kaendar cares. His need for superiority is too strong and evil ways are just too strong! I think they might start rubbing off on me, I might be turning gay.... My dog is in trouble....

The protestor's thongs are all wadded up because the charity arm of Chick-Fil-A gave a thousand bucks to the FRC in 2010, which lobbied against a meaningless U.S. resolution opposing a piece of Ugandan legislation: the "Anti-Homosexuality Bill, 2009."
If it is appropriate for protestors to protest outside Chick-Fil-A for a pissant donation from the WinShape Foundation to the FRC, it most assuredly is appropriate for them to protest outside of American Mosques due to Shaira Law.
I was not aware I took my "marching orders from breitbart." Thanks for clearing that up for me.
And you don't have to speak for me because I am not ashamed of my positions. Gays should be free to marry if they choose. They should have the same right to be miserable as the rest of us.
But what is relevant to this thread is my position that a company may legally donate it's money to any organization it chooses. Anyone who disagrees is free to spend their money elsewhere.
as you stated, a company may donate money to any organization it chooses. instead of elating kids at make-a-wish or fighting cancer, chick-kill-gay chose to donate money to an organization that refuses to condemn wholesale slaughter of people based on their sexuality alone.
i mean, that's awesome and all, but they shouldn't act surprised when people start protesting them for this rather retarded expression of their "christian" beliefs.

The donation was a paltry $1,000. Not millions.
The Ugandan legislation was called the 'Anti-Homosexual Bill, 2009.' Not the 'Kill a Gay' bill.

But cling to it if you must. Because the facts are less malicious than you presented them at first.
How do you know what other causes the foundation does or does not donate? A charitable foundation donating a thousand clams to the FRC leaves a lot of money unaccounted for. Have you looked into it that deeply?
I seriously doubt it.

the FRC spent $25k lobbying against a bill to condemn uganda's "anti-homosexuals bill", a bill which includes the death penalty for the "offense of homosexuality". you trying to put lipstick on that pig doesn't make it a bill which would not kill gays for the offense of being gay.

The lobbying was against a completely meaningless Resolution. A resolution which would have had no effect on Ugandan legislation.
