Well if free market pressures will be ALLOWED to operate, why not? Weed is not a difficult crop to grow. If you handed any Virginia farmer worth his salt a 1000 lbs. of seed, he'd show you a thing or two about bud production..... Big Tobacco was all set in the late 70's to do just that. But alas....

I have always maintained that a compromise legality would work. people could grow XXX amount of herb completely legal. However, selling it would still be a crime (it is a crime in principle already!!). Then all of the out of work growers could get on Saturday late night TV with the newest wave of INFOMERCIALS!!
