It had nothing to do with the war having destroyed nearly all the equipment, infrastructure in Ukraine, or the 11 million men that died to win the war who couldnt help rebuild or work the fields and so on and so on and so on. No, they purposely starved the otherwise able bodied people who remained because they didnt need them to help rebuild the nation.
What the fuck do you know? Both sides of my family lived through all that shit, except the ones who died of starvation or fighting.

Oh ya... forgot about that famine... the one where most of Russia fell into a civil war right after the bolshevik revolution that lasted almost 15 years. Ya... that was on purpose. It had nothing to do with about 6 regions of the country trying to retake control from the bolsheviks, instead of farming. Ya... that was a bad one, but nothing compared to what happened 20 years later.

Funny thing... about the same amount of americabs died from starvation and disease at about the same time as the Russian famine. 7 million. Wonder why that happened? The Pres mustve done that on purpose because they didnt want people complaining about having been robbed by wall street and the banks a few years prior.

But the funniest thing is that after losing about 12 mil in ww1 and the civil war that followed, about 7 mil during then 30s famine and the 11 mil more during ww2, plus another 20 mil during the 50s famine... Russia still came back from all that powerful enough to choose and control an American president.

According to a multitude of credible sources, in the 1930s Soviet Union between the trials, executions and man-made famines caused for political reasons, from 15-20 million deaths occurred.
This does not include unintentional famines.
