lol, yeah I never ordered them either...all freebies except for the Liberty Haze I will be getting some of the trainwreck seeds though....but really they all look so nice I want to just get a 5 pack of each, grow one, take clones, and hold the other 4....ah but my grow space is small... and thanks a lot guys! i wish i could share it with y'all...

I chopped the Amherst Sour D:


She's just a short little girl, only about a foot tall, and she is basically a nice, solid cola from top to bottom.

I chopped the trainwreck today, wow she looks delicious. Here's the main cola:


Unfortunately, the Liberty Haze will be coming down before she's ready. I have decided that I need to take the tent down before I leave town, as I want to move it somewhere else in the house. Luckily it really only takes about an hour to put everything up. Taking it down will be a bit more work...

I'll be starting the next run the last week of February; hopefully this will give me enough to last through the summer and until I can start the next grow in the Fall and finish it around the new year. It's too expensive to try to keep the temps in the house cool during the summer, so I'm screwed there, haha.

I will grow two plants: Medical Seeds 1024 and another Barney's Farm Liberty Haze. Anyone ever try the 1024? I've read some good reviews about the smoke, but they are pretty few in number.

Visited San Francisco for work...met some cool people and had a great time Lots of homeless people though and the Tenderloin, wow that's all I can say about that.



Now it's time to germ the next batch

I decided that I really like the variety, so instead of two I will do three plants this time:

1) freebie: Humboldt Seeds Desert Diesel

2) Medical Seeds 1024

3) Barney's Farm Liberty Haze (the last girl made it through the 6 day vacation-I put her in the cold, dark attic for the entire time and chopped her when I got home. She looked pretty good when I chopped her, so I guess it worked out )

Germinating the seeds by wrapping them in a damp paper towel and placing in a ziplock bag, in a dark place. I should be seeing germination within 24-72 hours, so let's hope for 24!

Great news: all three seeds cracked open in 24 hours. I've planted them in their pots and now we're waiting for them to sprout

No seedlings after 24 hours, not surprising though, lol. I'm starting off with the DS100 veg lights, the BD240U seems like overkill at first. Here's the first pic of some dirt:

cool man looking forward to that Liberty Haze, I think I have grown Medical 1024 ( I should know that lol ... I have grown so many strains in the last couple of years) I anticipate your Desert Diesel to be the best strain! I agree the BS240 would be overkill right now, probably good for like 1 month with only the DS100

sorry it was channel+ that I have grown from Medical 1024 ... anyway ... I fucked up with that plant so I cant really say anything about it, the smoke was nice anyway I remember that, the grow was under a different username I think (Endur0xX)

Haha, I remember user Endur0xX. Yeah, I didn't see many reviews on the 1024, but the few I did see were really positive. I'm a bit worried about the Liberty Haze, as I have seen some people complaining about the lack of a stable phenotype. I love my diesel, so I hope you're right about the Desert Diesel! We'll see how it goes

So far so good...

It took a while but the Liberty Haze has broken through the soil and is now showing her cotyledons 1024 and Desert Diesel are close behind; I can see the stems starting to come through the soil, so we should see their coty's by tomorrow I'll take a pic once they're all fully sprouted.

So, I started to get worried that I might not have enough green to last until winter with just the three girls, so I'm germing another seed: Dinafem Kush & Cheese (Who doesn't like cheese?)

The Desert Diesel looks pretty much just like the Liberty Haze, but the pic was blurry, so I didn't upload it...sorry.

I decided to break out the Black Dog BD240U in place of the Advanced DS100...imo, the DS is really only good to veg one plant and for some pretty decent supplemental side lighting, because the seedlings in the pots on the side seemed like they started to stretch due to the weird, long shape.

My previous experiences with Dinafem tell me that this is pretty uncommon, but The Kush & Cheese seed never popped. Two days ago, I germinated a Humboldt Seeds Lost Coast OG. It took one day to crack open, and I put the seed in the dirt a couple hours ago to give four total I wish the last one wasn't more than a week behind the rest though...

I want short, stocky plants so I topped the 1024 at the first node. The other two girls are still working on the first set of true leaves so they'll get it soon, but not today
