well i know outdoors my garden seeds dont pop until i have a couple high 70's to atleast 80 degree days so if it were me that would be my start temp mid 70's to low 80's but thats just the way i think i guess

70-73deg F is perfect, high 70's to low 80's will germ seeds and increase the chance of males.

really only 70/80

when it was on the t5 i was just guessing it was in the 90 /100 range due to the fact the water would always steam and fog up the sides with in 30 mins of me covering it up (i try to open the dome atleast 2 times a day replace the air)

i do autos last time the seeds were ready for the pot with in 5 days of being placed in there with a good 2 3 inch stem starting it

My pad is preset non adjustable at 85. Never used it for seeds though, just clones. Seeds are all done on back of fridge in paper towel and plastic container with lid. Seeds pop within 24hrs typically.

I wasted $200 worth of beans by setting my pad on 90. they just cooked. I did some reading and found 70-73 was most recommended. changed my setting to 72 and everything popped in 24-48 hours. that's the temp my house stays at, so I put them in a damp paper towel, in a dvd case, and just put them under the kitchen sink. within 36 hours, all 30 beans popped. of those, 24 were females w/ reg seeds. had that ratio ever since and the under tray head pad has been collecting dust
