This is an enviromental controller for grow rooms that you want to use to control a drying chamber. Sounds like hacking to me.but there's no need to hack, AC Infinity sells 120v outlets that connect to the controller. The DeHu can be plugged into one outlet and the Wine cooler can be plugged into another. These are then connected to the AC infinity controller 69 via UIS (basically USB-C) and the Controller 69 can set high/low temp, high/low humidity and control the slope. They basically cost $100 bucks. A LOT of growers use these controllers for their grow tents.

If you unplug the fridge the fan inside turns off. That will lead to some problems such as ice building up on the cooling element or temperature/humidity gradients in the fridge.

no, the AC Infinity Controller 69 ALSO has a Temp/Humidity PROBE that connects to it and is placed INSIDE the wine cooler and relays back to the controller when to turn off/on in a very sophisticated software controlled way just like a Cannatrol.
Basically I'm saying the Cannatrol has essentially an AC Infinity Controller built in for $1700 so why not just DIY for the price of a $100 controller and all the other components are exactly the same?

There's no need really. The fridge controls the temp. You only need a humidity controller.
That's how it is proven and would work. But this guy want to put the fridge on a smart outlet and plug/unplug the fridge to control temperature.

You can't, unless you wire it that way. When you unplug the fridge, it resets the fridges settings, and it doesn't reset to the desired temp.
Or buy an inkbird for $40?
You dont need "sophisticated" software to realize a bang-bang controller. Because nothing else can be done when all you can control is a switch. And what is the point of the probe (which the inkbird also has) if the measurement is not representative of the state you want to know? Without ventilation you run into issues.
If you have it all figured out just build it.

The AC Infinity will adjust to the fridges temps because of the temp probe inside

tents have plenty of controlled ventilation. Why not just add an air conditioning unit to a grow tent with an existing AC Infinity grow controller and down regulated the temp/humidity aka Cannatrol?

Exactly. Also the peltier is a direct thermocouple, so when you turn it off it takes the heat from the hot side and transfers it back into the cooler. The fans running on the hot side still cool it down to ambient temps, otherwise you’re wasting a ton of energy for no reason. Let the cooler control the temps, turning the fridge on and off is not a good idea at all.
