Rockwool. I don't have much experience with coco, so I'm leary of using it after hearing about some of the leeching issues. What are the slabs rockwool or coco?
NIce grow mate.
If you can grow in rockwool u can grow in coco.Rockwool. I don't have much experience with coco, so I'm leary of using it after hearing about some of the leeching issues.
Sweet! Looks like you don't trim much underneath, do you wait until the plants have grown through the screen? Here's a week into flower update on the Northern Lights in 4" flora flex sat on unislabs. I'm also using Kootmed's Jack's 321 formula.View attachment 4520184

yes, about 2 weeks into flowerSweet! Looks like you don't trim much underneath, do you wait until the plants have grown through the screen?
I would have got about 4 less pucks. It's overkill for that area. I find myself having to dim them. I'm talking out my ass about the far reds. I haven't experimented without them to give a real definitive answer.Therrion, just joined your journal!! Well laid out and organized.
I've just started to use the flora flex drip caps on 2 gal grow bags in coco. I'm also using there bubblers. I love the fact that you can take them apart for cleaning. The home deport style bubblers don't even compare to the quality flora flex bubblers are.
Are you still using the far red pucks with your flower room lights? I'm looking into supplementing the far red and blues with my DIY led lights. I seen on rapid led's website those pucks are for 3' x 3' area. You have 4 per light - correct? I seen where you mentioned that the far red pucks were unnecessary. What would you do differently?
I actually have 8 far reds for the whole 5' x 10', or 4 per 5' x 5' substrate.Therrion, just joined your journal!! Well laid out and organized.

By far ...lol.What a sexual set up all round dude.
Nice to see some NL too, is it me or does it look like its going to crush the previous grow?
Every day I roll my fingers on the branches to soften them up and then I bend them until the almost fold. I also do a lot of leaf stripping which makes the branches bushier and lets the ones under catch up. I get as many crowns as topping with half the stress. What kind of low stress training u do? How do ur train/spread them out without a trellis net? Still debating on the whole led change up as I’m doing ok with cmh lighting, but ur thread always temp me!
Looks cool. Where did you get your pulley system from? I've been looking around. This is my first grow journal. Unfortunately, I'm starting it 22 days into flower. The next run will be my GTH#1 clones, I'll be sure to keep it posted from veg. This is my first run with Cornbread from Rare Dankness, very squat and slow to veg due to the Bubba Kush lineage. I like to abuse my prospective clone mothers to see if they will herm and inherent flaws. This Cornbread mother is a true champ. Under-watering, over-under fertilization, low temps high temps, now I get to see what her yield and quality is to see if I'll keep her.
Sealed room. In flower I do automated top feed once a day into 8x 7gal pots of 1/4" rockwool cubes. 5' x 10' Scrog. 2400w of Chilled Logic V2 pucks + 8x far red pucks for the Emerson effect.
70 gal res...probably needed 100
1ml/gal Armor Si Silica
4ml/gal Cali-Magic
3ml/gal Florablend
1ml/gal Floralicious Plus
2ml/gal Flora Micro
3ml/gal Flora Bloom
1ml/gal Flora Grow
Last 4-5 weeks of flower, add 2ml/gal KoolBloom.
That comes to 900 to 950 ppm and 1100ppm midway.
I hand feed Recharge and Mammoth P daily mixed in RO water
I try to maintain perfect VPD. Right now they are at 85F/ 63% RH which put's me at 1.3 VPD if you account for leaf temps as well.

Love the grow..looks great. What throws me is the light strength of the LEDs. By this I mean,,for example,,,if my hlg 600w is equivalent to a 1000w hps,,and I have 2- 600's, (1200watts) of led over a 5x5,,do i really have 2000 watts (strength) over that 5x5? I'm planing lights for my 5x10's now and do I use the actual wattage if the led fixture, or the light equivalency of that 1000w hps?Thank you. I got 8lbs from my last run. It's closer to 1140w per 5 x 5 due to some power loss once it leaves the drivers and the dimmers create some loss as well..
So 2000w of LED's seem to be the sweet spot over a 5x10,,50sqft. I've been hearing 38min to50w/sqft hits the spotI would have got about 4 less pucks. It's overkill for that area. It's 4 bicycle pulleys.Looks cool. Where did you get your pulley system from? I've been looking around.
I matched my 2x 1150w Hps De watt for watt and I found it overkill. I dim them down to about 90%. I switched to LED to get rid of the radiant heat. You can have the biggest mini split in the world and it can't cool that. Plus the quality is much better and my plant don't look stressed.Love the grow..looks great. For led it's about 40 to 45w per sqft due to efficiency ratingsSo 2000w of LED's seem to be the sweet spot over a 5x10,,50sqft. I've been hearing 38min to50w/sqft hits the spot
