Had that problem once awhile back and it seemed to jump from plant to plant even had it show up in the ez-cloner. Flushed with H2o2 for a couple of days and cleaned all of our buckets and it hasn't returned. It's one of the reasons we use new stones and lines and replace them as they get transplanted into larger buckets. In a few of our flowering plants we've actually changed stones at the 4 to 5 week point after feeling a slimy buildup and loss of air pressure.

Start off in 3 gallon buckets and gradually move them to 6's and even 12 gallon buckets depending on the root mass.
Flower is done in 25 gallon marine coolers cut to accept the net pot and air lines. (access to the water/nutes/roots/stones through the pop can door on the cooler) Running CX line under 5 1000 watt air cooled hoods. 1 plant per light.
The plan with the root mass going into flower is the only one we are running on Humboldt's hydro line as a test run against the same strain using CX. The strain is Confidential cheese.
The large flushing plant posted today is a lemon kush strain. Just put a granddaddy purp in a few days ago, will snap a few of her as well and post updates. She started off at about 5'5 and given beast to sent her straight into flower with little to no stretch.

So here is the plant at 5 weeks into flower that I posted the root mass pic of. The strain is Confidential Cheese and we are doing a test run with it using Hombolts new hydro line. The second pic is another Con Cheese using our tried and tested CX line and it's in it's 7th week.

thank you very much, I was thinking about starting one from beginning to end from the net pot set up to harvest so anyone can follow it and do as they please in the future for themselves.

Very awesome setup 3. Have you ever had success with H&G or Canna? Before seeing your results with CX nothing seemed to rival those two. Also, where did you snag those big ass coolers?? I love the idea!

Ummmm....wow! Such a great set up 3squared.
I grow in water farm buckets and have taken to using biologicals in veg (along with Black Label Root Enhance), then switching to Dutch Master Zone in flower which essentially keeps everything free of bacteria/microbes (good and bad). Seems to have solved the pythium/rot issues that plagued me prior to that.
Do you use any biologicals? Or just straight hydro nutrients the whole time with the H2O2 to handle any sign of issues? The roots you are getting are truly amazing. Nice work.

Only ran into the root problem once and found it was heavy in the area for most growers not just mine. With proper water changes and topping off the levels every day the roots stay healthy throughout the grow cycle. Maintaining temps also help prevent root problems which the coolers help to do with in 5 degrees even with the room temps fluxuating by 10 to 15 degrees from on to off.
So to answer your first question I just use the CX line and the H2O2 if needed as a last resort.

I know a lot of people use SM90 which works good for the rot too. Personally I just battle to keep the rez below 70 then with a good lines you'll run clean.
Where did you grab those coolers? The side hatch makes them perfect.

Dick's sporting goods, about $75 a piece. With a router and drill and about 10 min's it's a grow pot. They work perfectly since marine coolers are made to hold temperature for up to 6 days. With topping off everyday the water stays within a few degrees even with 5 1000 watt lights above them.
Lid comes off for easy steril cleaning too. 6 screws and it's in 3 pieces.

Hello Rollitup, long time no seeds.
Changed a few things, but still running the same systems. Here's a pic's of what we've got going on now. Built a 24x32 grow house around a flower and veg room. Flowers almost finished and veg is getting close. Set up to run 8 1000 watt lights. Scrogs pictured are 4ft x 4ft. From left to right we have Cheese, Lemon and Sharksbreath all the way to the right. This pic was taken at the end of week 4.

beautiful.. i love how neat the plant/light setup is. I'm assuming those are 1k each right? how strong of a fan do you have pushing the air through all 4 lights?
