Congratz on catching that little shit stain, very glad to hear that. Also way to keep a cool head and show restraint too in not breaking his limbs. I hope to have the same restraint as you. I'm in the same boat right now, about a month from harvest and some little asshole trying to get into my greenhouse. I seen him on camera right at dark, at 9:12, in my yard coming up on my fence and trying to see through the privacy mesh. A light inside the house must have spooked him or something because he looked toward my house and then ran off after only a few seconds. He actually walked right in front of one of my cameras though and didn't even acknowledge it so I don't think he seen it or even any of them. He had a hoodie on and didn't even have his hood up lol. I'm guessing he'll be back though, probably later at night and I'm going to catch him. Aside from growing I also repair computers & tablets from home and this time of year I choose to do all of that work at night for this very reason. I have no problem converting to third shift and sleeping all day while my wife's at work and kids are in school. So from now until harvest I will be glued to my monitors until daylight each day and my weapons of choice will be bear mace and a paintball rifle with a full 200 shot hopper that I store in the freezer. Let the games begin kid.

I remember frozen paintballs, those fuckers hurt...they'r less accurate frozen tho so you would prolly be better off not freezing them and actually hitting him they don't hurt much les not frozen anyway

Thanks for the info I'll do that, I actually don't know much about paintball guns. Clearance at walmart so I snatched it up, I knew right away what I would use it for. My nephew told me that one of his friends was a dick one time and froze his paintballs so they'd hurt more and I figured I'd try it. I have a co2 pellet rifle too that can pop off 12 shots as fast as I can pull the trigger but I want to fire way more than 12 shots without risk of really injuring the kid. The mace is just a precaution because I'm assuming he's going to at least have a knife on him if he plans on cutting into my greenhouse and through utility fencing. I might even mace him anyway if I'm feeling angry, just because I'd enjoy it. I know it comes with the territory but I really hate thieves and hearing about others getting their hard work ripped off. That's why it made me feel good to hear about Corso here catching his perpetrator. That's the exact outcome I want, or at least the next step anyway; catch this kid in the act and send a firm message, but avoid really hurting him and causing any trouble or further attention to myself in the neighborhood. As of now my close neighbors are all real cool and support what I do and I'd like to keep it that way.

Frozen paintballs really don't hurt that much more, it's kinda just the thought that it's frozen makes you think it hurts more, but there also more likely to break in the barrel too and once that happen accuracy is even worse..so yea don't freeze

I scared the kid good..he was shaking ..I searched him n all he had was a little pen flashlite..no scissors ..unless he dropped em ..but I was really hoping to find his wallet n ID ...no luck...I wanted to get his address .

next time take a mug shot of the person with your camera

u really want to fuck with the kid take the pic and get posters made up put them around the area ......parnets will see it and do the work for u
u know ....i caught this kid in my yard at 3 am who is he .......this kid will rob u so watch out ......the kid is a weed thief so protect your bags

odds are he is with in 3 blocks of where u live otherwise that night u caught him u would of heard a car start up and leave him or him get in one and leave

man its a very bad situation if anyone can see the grow from the road, once the word is out you're a grower every fucktard in the area will stake your place out, unless serious guard dogs/high fence security is in place your going to have visitors, even idle gossip among idiots that have seen it can land you in trouble from the law too, possibly stop growing for 1+ years and let everyone think you have stopped(misinformation spread can help too) then resume with a much more concealed grow, these situations can get out of control & become bigtime life changers in minutes, its soo important nobody knows what your doing...vital
