Ok, I got to ask. Where the hell did you go to school? At no time in my public school experience, especially at a third grade level, did I ever hear anything that said our government was anything less than the best in the world.Really simple stuff, I mentioned this in the other thread. I first learned in grade school (3rd grade) we would watch the debates and count the number of lies. We also learned that there is little difference between republican's and democrats and the way the two party system is setup to get us to vote for the lesser evil when really its a false choice. Why does it seem soo many people never learned this stuff? I was continually taught this lesson throughout grade school, high school, and college. Are you people forgetting or was I just fortunate to have a proper education on basic American Politics? Today it is: Obama blames the republicans for everything and then the republicans blame Obama for everything. Person who lost their 3rd grade education thinks "Don't you just hate those nasty republicans/democrats? omg I do too, they are always at fault. I am so angry right now I am going to vote republican/democrat to make sure that democrat/republican that I hate so much doesn't get elected." In the end we all lose out, we got trolled by some gangsters into voting for their golf buddies, nothing changes.

I went to school in several states actually, very different places in this country. I will not say specifically because it would reveal my identity but I will say it was in the DEEP south but mostly in Michigan, I learned this in both places in public and state schools, the south is where I was in 3rd grade at, maybe its because I am only 30 and they didn't teach you old timers this?

long answer...
you can plainly see the evolution of the parties into what we have now over time.
what should convince you of the merging of reps and dems is the extinction of the other parties.
really its that simple.
if you want to dive deep into what moot points the "two" parties argue over you can...
and if you were to combine the entirety of both parties as to study their average... they are essentially the same.
a child, in the third grade, can see this. stop arguing just to argue, that's what third graders do.
