Thinking I need about another 1-2 weeks on these, thoughts?

Hey RIU. Got a couple Bruce Banners in week 7 of flower, and I’m starting to see about 15% clear trich heads and a few amber trichs showing on some of the sugar leaves.

Im thinking (hoping) they’ll be good to go in another 1-2 weeks. What are your thoughts? I’m trying to get a feel for estimating harvest based off of the bud appearance in addition to trichomes.

This is the first week of flush. Today actually was the 2nd water only cycle.

They are looking a little pale, especially the one on the right.

Did they go from green green to slightly yellow in the 2 days you've been going water only? Or has the color change been more gradual over the last few weeks? It doesn't really matter for any specific reason, I'm just wondering how fast "flushing" works.

I agree with Bob that you should let those two go for awhile yet. Give them more time to stack up and put on some weight.

I also agree that you should continue to feed the plants. If you want to continue flowering for 2-3 more weeks you need the plants to be well fed and healthy so they can stay alive and develop right until the end.

Personally, if you're taking a poll, I'm not really into Flushing. But it's your choice. Either way, I think it's a little early to cut the nutrients.

By flush I mean just giving them plain water each time they are dry in the typical amount I have always given them. Just to be clear. Sometimes when you say flush others might think you’re dumping x3 the size of the pot in water volume.

Yeah, the fading colors started about a week or so ago, namely around the time my tent temps were dropped to around 75f during the day and 65f at night. I just assumed this was the The start of the end of flower fade. The fading has been more apparent the last week due to it only having water for the past two cycles. No nutrients so I can understand why.

Thinking I’ll end this “flushing” nonsense and just feed em up until harvest. My last grow wasn’t flushed and I wouldn’t say the bud tasted bad. It was quite good and pales in comparison to what I bought on the black market.
