Thinning out or not, that is the question?

Hi all,I'm confused. Most of my plants seem to be very bushy(as per first two pics),at the moment they're around 12 inches high but very bushy. Now there's so many conflicting stories of wether you should thin out plants or not but i just need to know which is best.My plants seem to be very healthy and are 13 days into flowering after a six week veg period but seem to be short and bushy. What shall i do,leave 'em to flourish or thin 'em out.
Next question. The third pic is of my so called "blue cheese" plants but they don't look that blue to me.Can anyone enlighten me on whether blue cheese plants have a blue tinge to them. These ones don't need thinning out as they're growing well in height.I bought feminised blue cheese seeds fro a reputable UK seller(Big Buddha) but they seem to be identical to the normal "cheese" plants that I have on the other side of the grow tent.Any ideas?

Personally, I wouldn't do anything to those plants. They are pretty short and compact...They shouldn't get to be the point of being monsters blocking tons of light to the lower buds.

So if they do turn into bushy monsters, that's the time to do a bit of thinning yeah? It's just you get people saying "oh yea, they need thinning out cos it blocks the light to the lower leaves and stuff like that but there's other people who jump down ya throat and say "absolutely don't cut ant leaves off cos you'll stress the plant in flowering stage and that will affect bud production cos all the energy is going to produce new leaves instead of buds" which sounds quite feasable actually.Does the height of the plant affect the production of bud,i.e.more height, more bud?
Oh,what about pic 3,dya think that they're blue cheese or not.Are blue cheese plants slightly blue?If so,some f*** has put the wrong seeds in the wrong box:-(
