Temps are at 89F low of 80, high 91, everything is kosher, and all is looking well, no stretching at all, and going to top at 3rd node to keep a very low profile.

Not going to start nutes for another week or two i think. I'm using MG organic blend and vermiculite as a medium.

Day 36

Havn't posted in a while but all is good, baby is in flower.

Not sure how large these buds will be, but i have 14 main buds and slowly getting some growth below them that i hope turns into buds....but i'm figuring about 7-8wks flower, and i hope she really packs on some weight as i'm not happy with her output right now, unless the buds gain 3-4times the height they are now.

Anyway lots of hairs showing, and i bleieve have been on 12 12 for about 2wks or 14days.

My biggest concerns are getting a decent yield, as i could have easily let her veg longer, was very unsure of how large she would get and this one seems to be VERY small in compairson to my first at this age.

Nutes have been none, up until 4 waterings ago i gave very little molasses, 2 waterings later i gave some 10-52-10, once each.

Anyway my questions are really.....

how much larger are these main buds gonna get? Can i flip back over to some veg to get some more size on her, then flip back to flower or what? Though i am happy i'm finally getting a plant to flower and nicely at that, just lacking yield right now imo.

I am guessing you topped that plant, how long did you let it vegg before flowering?

I vegged it for 2.5wks or ~20days, those pictures are at day 36 or a good 2 weeks into flower.

if you reveg the plant all the buds will turn into branch points and you will be effectively starting over

Then i will not reveg, everything i had read said that it would possibly go hermie, which in that case i could pick off male parts, but i only want some of the tertiary growth off of the main heads to get a little larger, its basically right now one bud on a stick almost lolipopped but theres 2-4 nodes on each with small leaves. I figure if i can give it another 3-4 day mabey week vegging i'll be happy. Growth is all coming in but very slowly, and overall 2-3x larger flowering size i've yet to see, plant is no larger than it was when it started flowering, which i hadn't expected, and is why i flowered it and topped it at that time, or i would have easily let it go much longer.

no, revegging doesnt cause hermies from what i have seen... going to reveg is not a random lighting event, it is one shot so the plants just shift.

picking male parts off a hermie is not a good plan IMNHO... never can see them all

3.5wks ~26days into flower and never switched back over to revegging, just figured i'd try for larger yield which shouldn't be hard next time.

Anyway....


Its been 10 days since i last updated and if you look at the top 2 heads you can see the difference in that amount of time. I count 14 main heads not sure if their kola's or not, lol, 40 total other budsites, some just appearing now, others in the last 10 days. But shit is starting to look dank.

I'm honestly somewhat wondering since their all just so hairy right now, if they will all fill in around it with calyxes, and as far as the biology of the plant, do they come in then swell over time, or what?

Let me know what you think, and any ideas on possible time left, i'm thinking 4-5more weeks, but i'm keeping good tabs on color. Not really worried about yield right now, i imagine there might be at tops 1oz. More if i'm lucky and keep it running and let all the other budsites coming in now mature.....As far as kola dimenstions hairs are looking around 1.5" in diamater right now and growing in height. Will the bud final dimensions be sorta near this size, or what, they are all pretty small lol, but growing nicely. Any ideas when i should harvest her as i'm at ~26days now 45-50 that is depending on color?

Hairs are getting more red, and looks like some of the lower parts of the buds are getting wider.

I didn't think it'd be anything special so i never cloned her, gonna reveg her after harvest and take some then.

1.5wks or so to go i guess, i'm looking daily at 30x, there getting closer to being all cloudy right now as it looks if not then 75% cloudy/clear.

Day 68

Its been 12 days since i last updated with pictures. Trics look to be at about 60% clear/40%cloudy. Monday will be 7weeks. I gave a small shot of 15-30-15 the other day, and will follow up with molasses in my flushes here soon, as its surely a blessing, and i've noticed a slowing of actual visible growth with the lack of molasses after giving a brief shot of nutes as i was using molasses every other watering since flowering was initiated at 1/2tspn per 1/2 gal. I easily noticed a rapid acceleration on weight being packed on and cannot wait to ger her back on it.











Anyway keeping VERY close tabs on tric color and planning to harvest around 25-40% amber if not 50% and i've yet to see any amber at all. I'm not too worried about the color of some of the leaves at this point, i'll be trimming them off when i manicure at harvest, so not really my concern right now, buds look tasty though. They have a sweet aeromatic overtone to them when you touch the leaves or buds, and its starting to get pretty stinky, in like a BO way, hard to place really.

Started supplementing uvb recently and its doing very nicely, not sure if its a placebo though. I can say they're starting to look very dank, and they say weight goes up in the last week ALOT? That i'll be waiting for, i may get more than i had figured when all is done if thats the case!

Hey Bfq, hell yes i am, i'm gonna reveg this plant and grab some clones off it for my next run as well after christmas. This strains growth patern i like, and dosent get too large at all even into flower, i'd like a month at least veg on her this time though, and would like to continue once or twice more and get some good weight off of her.

As far as harvest time i'm unsure of, keeping very close tabs with a 15x+10x+5x layered for magnification. As i can see she seems to be packing on some nice weight now, and it seems to be filling out from the bottom of the buds up, and over the next 2 weeks i think they'll all be finished and turning, some of the popcorn buds are getting somewhat nice in size as well .

Pretty frosty imo.

Very intrested to see both wet and dry weight.
