it says just water but im sure i need to still feed soil right? also is this a good soil mix http://gamerchronic.com/organic-super-soil/
we really, really, really, need to do one of two things, either take the damn supersoil sticky off, or add another one that is similar to coots.Subtool's soil mix is subpar. The Rev is in the same boat. Bunch of tools trying to make million on stoner science. Read the ROLS/no-till thread - at least the first part of it, and do some non-cannabis forum reading.
My 2¢,

So who grows the best herb? Stoners, cash croppers, or botany enthusiasts?we really, really, really, need to do one of two things, either take the damn supersoil sticky off, or add another one that is similar to coots.
Between you and me, and stow, and hyroot, and so many others... it's like three times a day where growers are either having problems with the supersoil or going about their own journey to adding every organic nutrient know to mankind. Wondering why their plants look like shit.
Not to mention I think we are sorta not doing our best to the cannabis growing community by not informing people of the health risks involved with slaughterhouse stuff.
ignorance isn't so bliss...
just sayin...
can kill ya... no joke.
and the best advice you gave there was simple, but sadly the majority of cannabis growers don't so, and that is simply growing more plants, not cannabis, understanding the nuances and symbiotic relationships between the soil and the plant, the microbes and the plant, even companion plants and their interaction..
It's fascinating to me, but I admit i'm sorta nerdy when it comes to growing things..
in my mind their are three types of growers, stoners, ca$h cropper$, and botany enthusiasts.
which do you think grows the best herb?
I mean hell, if you can get an orchid to flower over and over, growing herb is SIMPLE..
orchids are some temperamental plants...
wow, I never have seen this, and damnit I swear he is in my brain, I couldn't have said it better myself, VERY good shit right there, sticky-worthy.I find neither one's soil as actually functioning for the long haul.....To much this, not enough of that......
I make a variation for my own use and rely on mainly my own teas.....
I listed this for someone to read on another thread. While I wanted them to read the TLO book. I listed it second and Teaming With Microbes first....I listed this site to make the OP pause and think about it....That don't work here enough..
I think it speaks for it's self.......

Maybe someone will read between the lines after reading it.
umm, botany enthusiasts... If you were asking me seriously that is..So who grows the best herb? Stoners, cash croppers, or botany enthusiasts?
I will not defend sub, but i have to say the Rev or Mike, as Dp calls him, is humble and very cool guy, he was hooking us up with seeds for free before he ever chose to start selling them (ie sustainable sharing) but his layering and spikes as well as feed game are not as simple as they could be, nor are their understandings, despite their prominent positions, anywhere near beyond the grasp as us, as a collective..organic Mastermind ..Subtool's soil mix is subpar. The Rev is in the same boat. Bunch of tools trying to make million on stoner science. Read the ROLS/no-till thread - at least the first part of it, and do some non-cannabis forum reading.

especially when you take into account two thingsI owe a lot of credit for my journey in organic gardening from Sub's info. However, the whole stacking different soil mixes at different levels is unnecessary complication IMO for my personal taste. Everyone has a better soil mix than the next guy.
