I planted my lowryder 2 seeds yesterday, and went out today and bought a tester to test my ph, and soil moisture, i don't no much about theses things but this doesnt look good to be them both reading in the red! Photo attached so you can see what i mean, advice anyone please?

Ok sorry i'll try read what it says but i don't really understand these things! So here goes. The moisture scale is from 0 to 10 0 being dry 10 being wet. It's reading on 1 at the moment. And the ph going by what itchy says is from 0 to 14 and it's reading erm i dunno i don't understand how to read that! Only way i can explain it is that the pointer is 1/4 of the way round the scale, sorry if that's no help.

Oh by the way i'll start a grow journal later on when my batteries in my camrea are charged, just off out first though.

ok so from what i can see on the ph the bottom scale..
its in the middle of green and red.. which is 7 Neutral..

U want it just slighty acidic 6.5 is right.

the top red mean u need to water the plant cause your soil is dry,, im sure u figured that yourself..

to make your water a bit more acidic add some vinigar to your water just a tiny drop tho...

I dont really understand how its seems like the same bar for the ph and moisture??????
Is there are a switch to check either ph/moisture..

you know you cant measure ph and moisture at the same time with that thing right you have to flick the switch to hat you wanna measure and i dont think you just stick it in soil to measure ph i think the instructions say sopmething about mixing it with water or something read the back of the box if you still have it

Those things are crap... you have to make your soil into mud for them to work properly.. trust me just start with PH'd soil (ie any good brand, fox farm comes to mind) and PH'd your water, bam! your ph is correct... unless you go and water with fucked up water you will never have a ph problem. If you set your self up correctly you can throw that meter in the trash, or sell it on CL or ebay.
