Had been trying for years to get it right for personal reasons. Found out why I didn't thanks to RIU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! And now I get to do this for someone's medicine! Wish me luck, and hop this first post isn't too long to read, lol.
Now...
I am having to tear out my 1st little personal set up(10 weeks along >.<) I made at my new place, and will be tearing this place down, and re-building a carport the length of a double wide into a huge grow op, and apartment. Coding issues with the county...Can't be helped, rent gets cut in half though =)
So...Found me a couple of patients, and got all legal. I will be building the room, and starting at the same time This could get difficult! I am going balls out for 12 plants. Wanted to perpetual grow, but with a 14 foot ceiling, I think I can shoot for the stars. Any advice you guys can give would be awesome as I take this journey towards making some patients life better!
Best thing is my grandma who just went into assisted living was a gardener herself! Most of the stuff I will be using is recycled, and I will be trying to do it as organically, and earth friendly as possible!
Questions, comments?
I know it's lacking pic's right now, but we just moved in, and things are so up in the air, I may have to buy a new patch cable for our camera. Can't find the damned thing for the life of me!
Thanks

Day 1 8/1/10
Germinated 12 various bagseeds I had saved up over the years of heavy personal use. I used the "glass of water til they sank" method. May have a few that didn't make it, may have a few males...who knows...funny since the last two I am having to move are both ladies, lucky me.
Day 2
After making sure all but like 3 sank I planted all of them in a mix of steer manure, mushroom compost, recycled potting soil, and good ole Oregon clay(granny's special mix).
I'm a little weird I guess. I use tweezers as I smoke cigarettes, and don't want the nicotine from my fingers touching the seeds.
Set them in a medium sized Rubbermaid container in the sun with a large piece of Plexiglas over it to keep the moisture in. Then I soaked the hell out of them with our trusty well water(lots of sulfur in it =D ). I know it's working because the Plexiglas is getting foggy.
Day 3(today)
FUCK got cold, and foggy overnight. . .shoulda brought them in. Oh well I want to do perpetual grow anyway. So culling the crop isn't a bad thing when I want to stay legal =) Bringing them into a 24/7 t5 48in flouro by the end of the day.
Now to finish moving all of my grandparents crap out of the carport, and start the building! Wish me luck!
Will be updating more as I go. Please feel free to comment! +rep for good suggestions/advice!
One question I do have is this.
If I am cropping good sized plants(1/4lb to 1lb a piece) how big of a room should I make for flowering? How about for vegging?(36 immatures at a time)
