i looked it up and my parents used something like it before to get rid of pet odors haha
but does it really work? have any experience with it at alll? and how well will it cover up the smell, completely?

No.
if you can't figure out a way to scrub the air and then dump it into either a crawl space or into the attic, they are going to know something is up unless they are stupid. I double scrubbed with two carbon filters and returned the air into my home. even though it didn't smell skunky, it still had a smell of sorts. now no one noticed it that came into my home as they probably just assumed it was just the way my house smelled, but your parents have walked into/by your room all these years, and then all of a sudden there is a new smell in the air, silent alarms will go off and they will be on the prowl.
ona gel works but it leaves your room smelling like a freshly cleaned bathroom. to me, that's just as obvious as the smell of skunk. as a parent, if I walked by my kids room and I smelled this clean bathroom smell, I'd know instantly that they were up to something.
Then I'd kick their ass for growing in my house without asking permission first.

well then if that might help my only question is how do i use the gel?
