This is the easiest way to clone

Ive tried many different ways of cloning and this is the easiest way to clone.. Put 1" of cold tap water in a cup.. I choose the plastic cups because I cut them in half.. that way the leaves rest on the cup and help hold the clone up. I always use a clean razor and never use scissors because its usually a much nicer cut.. Find a nice size clone. You want 2 nice size leaves and about 3-5" of stem.. Cut it at a 45* degree angle.. place clone in the cup right away.. put under a CFL or any fluoro light.. I keep the light about 7" inches away.. Thats it! Just check on the water level every day and wait about 12-18 days and you should see roots.. Ive heard people say if the roots were exposed to light that will cause problems.. that is simply not true. Ive let clones sit in cups for over a month and the root tip was about 6 inches long and very healthy. I dont put the cups in the window because I dont want marijuana clones sitting in my window lol.. Goodluck guys

buy a cloner or make your own. htg has good ones for ($35). instead of taking 15 days it takes 3....All it is, is a water pump with a 360 degree sprayer on top that you put in a 5g bucket and u just stick the clones in the top. its fucking awesome. OH, and did i mention, 100% success rate?!

I've been rooting cuttings this way for years. It's how my parents and great grandparents did it. If someone else rather spend $300 on a "cloner" power to them. Sheers and a fast food cup is all I ever needed.

Please dont take this the wrong way.. but 3 days? Thats bullshit lol unless you have pictures to back it up.

Yeah, I no way your getting roots in three days. Two weeks is the average. The difference between a cloner and manually changing the water is negligible. It's mostly a convenience thing.

I just topped three plants. I usually toss the tops.
I happened to have three red solo cups sitting right there, so why not?

I dropped them in last night. I trimmed the leaves, they were huge.
If they root, I don't have anywhere to put them.

The big soft drink cups and lids are all I used before building an aero unit. My first 20 cuttings are in the aero so we will see. My first wife was not awed at all by pot and cloned one of my plants around 1970 or 71 saying her mother showed her like her mother had shown her. It amazed me it was so easy. A glass of water, changed at least every 2 days, and time.
