This light better than my current cfls?

I have 2 27w 5500k blue spectrum cfl's and i was looking online for better lights and i was curious if this light would be better for the plants. I have one plant going right now but i'd like to get two or three going for more harvests. I'll be growing lowryders if that helps.

You can grow several sprouts in small pots(like beer cups) with a single bulb like that. Just imagine the 5 on the side of dice. The four outside points are the plants, and the center is your light.

looks like you'll need a different ballast for those bulbs. Not sure, but might be HPS bulbs

that bulb looks like a metal halide it seems low on lomens at 38k my 250 hps has 28k lumens

its an mh bulb, and a 400w hps has at least 55k lumens. mh bulbs are less lumens than hps. thats the right amount.

you will need a 150w ballast for that light.

Some HPS bulbs lose about 12 lumens/day on average over the first 2 years(~1k lumens every 90 days), and loss is increased even further after that time. Contrasted to MH which loses more initially and less with time.

Im not familiar with ballasts at all. Could you possibly provide me with a reliable source to get the ballast from?
